    Hey guys! Hope you're all doing well! Here with another N5 Kanji video!
    It's been crazy cold here in Japan all of a sudden! I hope you're all staying nice and warm wherever you are! Lots of hot chocolate!!♨
    And if you're in the southern hemisphere (Australia) right now...I'm very jealous 😂

    I've learnt a bunch of these words you're covering in this series, but I never heard of all these forms and it kind of stresses me out :D This also means, that your level of detail is by far exceeding all my other resources, so thank you! My favorite series.

    I have another word which is most likely rarely used おとぎ話
    "Otogibanashi" which means Fairy Tale

      Using "Fairy" can get you flagged on youtube unfortunately.

      Thanks for enjoying the videos! I certainly will be making more kanji videos, just need to recover from the Complete N3 video I recently made and will be looking at regular videos again :)

    Hey matt question. i thought japanese verbs when in conjunction with another verb use the te form. like 話して合い、話して合おう、話してかける. instead of the 話し合う,話し合う,話しかける. are you able to explain the difference?

      Final fantasy: gangan suikomu 吸い込む
      It's about atelic vs telic eg to build the castle for vs in 2 hours

      Te-kei+masu stem (kakikotoba of te kei) vs compound verb

    • @GameGengo
      @GameGengo  9 месяцев назад +3

      The difference between 話して合う and 話し合う is the difference between the 'TE-Form' and 'Compound Verbs'
      話して合う - 2 actions, TALK and then COME TOGETHER
      話し合う - 1 action, TALK TOGETHER

    You make really good content except you pay no attention to pitch accent at all. I know it's really hard and I don't say you have to completely make it right but at least if you say single words like 話 you could take that into account. It's not HAnashi but haNASHI (capitals are pronounced higher)

    • @GameGengo
      @GameGengo  8 месяцев назад

      That's a bit of an over exaggeration. I do pay attention to pitch accent all the time, it's just sometimes when I'm speaking in English the natural part to emphasize for my natural speech to teach in a clear/entertaining way sometimes gets muddled with the Japanese word I reference. (also me and me wife speak in 関西弁 which may also cause accent differences) Sorry if this is a huge deal for you, I will try my best to keep improving and get as perfect as possible. Thanks for the comment!

    • @matzekatze7500

      Yes I understand that and I didn't mean that offensive but if you pronounce single words it always botheres me 😅@@GameGengo
      Maybe I indeed exaggerated a bit but glad you understand that :)
      Keep up the good content!
