I completely relate to the "leave it to me to get a weird injury" part, I tend to get random injuries and health issues. Hope it gets better without needing an MRI and all that. Is it any better since you filmed this? Thank you for the relaxing video!

never heard of turf toe but i better stop doing that to my toe i have enough problems walking with my botched knee replacement and broken hip i hyperextend my toes while i sit here i have to be more conscious of it now i see this was a while ago so i hope it healed well and you had no further problems cuz i googled it and apparently sometimes you need surgery from it !! much love from a fellow NYer im loving your channel !!! so much to catch up on !!

all the way through that story I was waiting for you to say, I picked up my shoe that I wore to the gym and lo and behold, there was a spider in there! (or a scorpion, or anything poisonous!) I was SO sure thats what this injury was 😂 never heard of Turf Toe! Hope it gets better soon!

My mom had turf toe, I remember it was really annoying. I’ve used the special shoe for broken toes before and it’s great, I hope it helps you heal soon.

@@MyASMRAddiction I think like 4-6 weeks but unfortunately she did have some pain when doing specific movements or exercises that lasted a lot longer. Hopefully that’s not the case for you!

I started cracking up when you were talking about urgent care providers because that’s where I’m getting moved to when my clinic closes in 2 months 😂 I’m dreading it!! We aren’t all bad though ha (although I admit to everyone I suck at suturing so if they don’t want a scar to go elsewhere 😅)
Oh, oops... I knew I would insult someone. I'm sure some of the urgent care providers are great, but I haven't found one yet. LOL

Ah- I too order from the McDonald’s app every time- specifically to use the deals and points 😊 They definitely need a way to redeem points when issues like that occur! And regarding the turf toe: that’s the first thing that came to mind when you described where the pain was. Only reason for that is I’m a former ATC (certified athletic trainer), and it was an injury we learned early in our curriculum. I saw a few cases when I was working, but not many. I was thinking, “how in the world did she sustain a turf toe injury??” 😂😂 I’m glad you’ve had some relief! 😃

I know what u mean like I like the sounds of people eating and the tingles I get from it or the comforting sounds I get like I’m eating with a friend or something, but I only like those people who eat politely and with manners and what not. But that whole messy dumpy disposal chomping people I just can’t with.

If that happened to me here in the 🇬🇧 off to docs, hospital whatever no insurance needed. Try Arnica gel or cream to reduce the brusing. Hope you get better soon. Ps I love eating the nachos under the toppings as they are soft!!!! xx

Thanks! The bruising is almost gone now. It's been almost 2 weeks now. But it's still swollen and painful. I just gotta be patient. In the UK don't you have to wait weeks or months in order to get to see a doctor? That's what I've heard. I mean unless it's a true emergency.
@@MyASMRAddiction you can get in to see a docs quite quickly, depends on the doctors surgery. It's just relief to be able to get medical attention and not worry about having insurance to cover it. Sometimes hospital appointments where a doctor refers you can take a while, again it depends on the hospital xxx

@@MyASMRAddiction nachos here in the UK would be the same as it is in the states. Usually on a plate to share. A lot of fast food outlets put it in boxes and I find it goes very soggy.

No sour cream OR meat?!!!! Ummm no! The sour cream is a must. I've been doing carnivore and low carb so for me I'd have to do the opposite. No chips but lots of meat and sour cream and cheese! Once I hit 40 carbs became my enemy. I look at starches and my stomach gains 5 pounds. The joys of being a woman....fluctuating hormone levels from birth till death literally.
I'm with you on the joys of being a woman trying to lose weight. It's ridiculous. Meat or beans would have been great here. But I was keeping it simple. LOL

If I'm not mistaken, turf toe is a minor separation. I'm guessing you injured a ligament or tendon somehow.
Turf toe is a torn or stretched ligament.
