I'm not a Jazz drummer but I have a huge appreciation for Zack's playing. He has such good feel and groove. It feels like he could play anything on any beat and it would work. Man does he play well !

I already left a comment but I have to say this. I subbed to zack’s RUclips channel wayy back before he was even at like.. 10k subs? This guy is SO talented and entertaining it’s ridiculous! He also made me grow an appreciation for other genres like jazz.. that’s something nobody else was able to do. I was always a “not my cup of tea” situation.. but zack basically said “screw your tea we drink coffee in this house!” And now I appreciate jazz and many other genres that I’d age never given a chance. I think Zack is the most creative drummer out there at the moment. As someone once told him at school, you can hear his personality through his playing. Love seeing him getting the recognition he deserves!
I love watching zack grows from being only having a few thousand subscribers back then in early 2020's up to being recognized by Meinl. Dude's getting the recognition he deserves and all the amount of hard work he have done is now paying off.
What sets this man apart (for me) is his ability to play chops not in the traditional/gospel sense, but how he chooses to play most of his “chops” as a combination of ghost notes in between the hi hat/snare/kick while still laying down a backbeat on a stack 🙌🔥🥁 Also…was anyone else expecting him to do one of his crazy facial expressions at the end?? 😂

Occasionally I think he gets excited and overplays a tad, but like 98% of drummers do this when they get DEEP in the pocket
