FUN FACT: Did you know there is Ocho Rios the town in St. Ann, and Ocho Rios the Resort Area that includes parts of St Ann and St. Mary? Check the map to see for yourself 10:15! Let me know what you think about the 2 Ocho Rios in Jamaica! 🌊🌴
The parking is pretty safe, as it's in the community with houses on both sides. There are even community members that will watch your car for less than the cost of getting into the river.
That's my home Town in JA, Exchange, Ocho Rios, St Ann Exchange is in Ocho Rios, but close to the St Mary border. That area of the river is too noisy and loud. Much more peaceful and tranquil areas farther down and up the river. I remember when that river was just use for bathing, washing clothes, swimming, fishing and riverside cooking. Now there is Blue Hole, Calypso Rafting, and that noisy spot where you all went. There was another spot at that river that someone tried to privatize but it didn't last for long. When i go back home, i usually find a quiet spot at that river to be at one with nature.
Thanks for sharing these amazing stories! Hope you enjoyed the river and I did it some justice. It makes sense Exchange is close to St. Mary border, as maps kept saying The river was in St. Mary. The spot really was noisy yes, that's why we opted to do more Voice-overs this time around, but it's still a fun experience nevertheless. We have a video on Blue Hole but have never heard of Calypso rafting, will look into it, it sounds fun
Calypso Rafting is in the same River but farther down. There is also some tubeing on that River. The River is both in St Ann and St Mary, just like White River. Some parts of the River are in One Parish and parts in another. Beautiful place. Good video
@@omariokeith-cu2icits actually on the map. Just google White River Calypso Rafting. If you were referring to Mada Fed River, check the video descritpion for the Google Maps location
Hard to say tbh, as the map itself says Mada Fed is in St. Mary. Even when I was there, my live location put me in St. Mary. Check the map with (link in description) or watch the video 10:15.
@@deniquerhoden6759 Oh I get you lol.... Make sure is not this season you going though, the rains nuh safe right now at all. Perhaps I should make a video on the best times to go river, you giving me ideas enuh 🤔... Thanks
I appreciate your feedback. However, Ocho Rios is indeed associated with both St. Ann and St. Mary parishes within Jamaica's Resort Package. This strategic grouping is designed to showcase the diverse attractions and experiences of these regions to tourists. You can delve into further information about this in the first provided link in the video description, which outlines Jamaica's Resort Package, covering both St. Ann and St. Mary. For a deeper understanding of Jamaica's tourism offerings, you can also explore the Jamaica Information Service (JIS) website, also linked in the description. It elaborates on Jamaica's Six Tourism Packages, which include Ocho Rios among other destinations. To address any further confusion, I also invite you to watch the video at the 10:15 timestamp. There, you'll see both the town of Ocho Rios in St. Ann and the broader Resort Package spanning St. Ann and St. Mary, providing visual clarity on the geographical context discussed.
I like the fact that you gave evidence, cause who doesn’t know that Ocho Rios borders St. Ann and St. Mary? 🤔Unless they are not from Jamaica🤷🏽♀️….. Goods all wrote it in full caps to unuh…… A cyaa badda…. 😂…Thanks guys, Video was awesome, but I think I am afraid to walk down that steep pathway down to the river…. Can another Video be uploaded with another pathway to the river? Please…..lol…
The path isn't scary at all! 😂😂Trust me. Its probably the least scariest path we've been on. Other paths looked like something out of a horror movie sometimes but this is good lol.... If you still need another path, can I suggest you helicopter over and parachute down? 😎
@@claudiagilzene6180 I'm jealous you lived near the river, you must have plenty of fun stories 😇... Perhaps the river stretches from St. Ann and St. Mary, as I do know many other sources that say it's in Exchange, St. Ann, and we did pass through St. Ann to get there, however, I know while I was there, I pinged my location, and it said St. Mary, and even searching for Mada Fed River, on Google Maps, it says St. Mary, and our Map guy that guides us on all our locations who has a background in geology, who also drove us there, said the river we stayed at was in St. Mary. So this is very strange indeed.
Yeah the Trees were really something. The clean up was because they had some garbage at the foot of the first tree we passed. It probably clean up by now though 🌊🌳

It is in exchange, St. ann
I thought the same as well, but the map says otherwise 10:15. And sites that featured Mada Fed pinged the location in St. Mary.
I used to live right there and go to the river to wash
