A few months ago I was out to dinner on vacation in Turks & Caicos and caught the most gorgeous scent. Eventually I figured out it was one of the waiters, and in his gorgeous Caribbean accent he said it was Tom Ford but couldn’t remember the name. I scoured the internet looking at notes and showed him a picture of Cafe Rose and he said “yes, that’s it!” Oh, he smelled divine. I bought a sample, knowing I would hate the way it smelled on me, but I love to sniff it and remember that fun moment.
Mine is a cheapie designer. Versace Bright Crystal..i live in Florida, and it shines in the extreme heat, the peony and mahogany cuts through the humidity and is a constant complement getter. It will always be in my collection. 😊❤
Libre EDT is stunning. I only realized a while ago how beautiful the scent is. D&G's Devotion is also wonderful. It's hard to find something light and quite sweet for the summer that would please me. Libre EDT works in summer and I think in all seasons.

I also love several of the fragrances on this list! Chance Eau Tendre, Soleil Blanc and Hermes! I prefer the Le Jardin Sur Le Nil rather than Mediterranean ! The fresh fragrance category is also difficult for me but try the Acqua Fiorentina by Creed! I take this out every summer and it’s stunning!
I adore Irresistible Fraiche by Givenchy. There’s something in the opening - pretty sure it’s the pink pepper - that I simply cannot get enough of. It settles into such a pretty, feminine scent. IMO, it’s similar to Chance Eau Tendre on the dry down. I own Chance Eau Tendre on your recommendation, of course. Love it! And your fragrance videos! Thank you for all of them! 💕
Gucci rush has been a constant repurchase since it came out. Used to steel it from my mother as a teen, and have had it in rotation for 20 years since. Tom ford is what tom ford does.
Definitely still love Le Jardin Sur Le Toit (nobody ever talks about that one) and also Eau d'Hadrien, my go-tos for many years before discovering niche! You look sizzlin' today! x

I liked the Le Toit too but only can really buy two due to budget haha, and A Cythere won (Le Nil out of the question it's #1 for me 😁) but I love them all. You are right, Un Jardin line is like a dream, sometimes it's hard to tell others hahahahaha. I will finish one perfume bottle first (a rule I set myself) and might buy the Le Toit after 😊

I absolutely love Freshies, the Un Jardin line from Hermes has some amazing ones and they’re so unique. I also love Libre EDT and Chance Eau Tendre. I think since living in FL I just had no choice but to get into fresher scents lol 🌴

I would say they are not even "cousins" LOL Regarding Penhaligons Constance, I can not say because I have not tried it! But I will... Thanks for the tip :)
I adore all of the Libre line except l’absolu platine. My husband loves Prada paradoxe, so I wear that for him (I think I’ll personally enjoy it more in the spring/summer too). What are the thoughts on Donna born in Roma pink pp? I am not sure, but think I might have liked it better than just DBIR… discontinued now of course,so would maybe have to find.a dupe house version.

I would like to thank you for advising on granado Bossa perfume it is really close to Tom Ford , soleil Blanc. Granado has got very nice perfumes maybe you might like Brisa it has a spark lemon opening but a great Wooden base on the skin. Kind regards ❤

I was watching the other day a video of your about perfums for spring, and all of them I was like "it's a no" without even know the smell. Brazil is so, so, so so so so hot, and our spring is hot too, last year we basically didn't have winter (and we had 35°C a few days), that is hard to find European brands/fragrances that we can use here. If you can, I hope some day you come here to spend some time and know Brazil ans our food and places etc, and finds out fragrances, our brands, and live that experience of trying to find a perfum to wear under 38°C.
I live in the US in Florida and struggle with finding fragrances for the heat and humidity because I'm not a fan of freshies. I have a few on your list but going to try the Hermes 😊
@@Melissa12175 Yeah, that’s kind of how it is with most freshies, unfortunately. You have to have constantly be reapplying. The only fresh fragrances that I know last in the high heat are tart fragrances, which tends to have rhubarb or litchi or Lemon in it.

Why not try Musc Noir Rose by Narcisso Rodriguez. Haven’t tried it myself but I have heard it leaves a magnetic magical trail. Ps: safe option is to try all these sents tester on your skin, walk around and see if you can still smell it on your skin after half an hour. You’ll figure out the opening and dry down too.
OMG, I only recently discovered the FLOWERBOMB Orchid, smells very juicy to me almost ''sticky'' , dense, thick, with a bit of Barbie Doll sweetness, weirdly I really like it though very juicy sweet and young, superlasting, good projection too !
Two months ago , i went to sephora to buy la nuit de l'homme bleu électrique and the cashier gave me l homme le parfum instead(both have blueish bottles).I obviously didn't know at the time and I opened it ,so I ended up buying both 😂(with a slight discount)

I don’t know,but I tried Dossier’s version. It wasn’t close enough for me. Sent it back. For now I am buying smaller decants of the original to enjoy in moderation 😊
The creaminess is hard to achieve in the dupes. I like Curcao Bay from Jacques Fath. It’s very similar but a bit more spicy. Not a dupe but sometimes there are great deals on it.

You should try the Guerlain Aqua Allegoria line or Arien, their fragrances are subtle surely they should be something in there for you, give it a try.

I love the La Rosee one. Oriana won't give you too much of a scent trail. Maybe you'd also like Woman in Gold from Kilian if you like white florals.

Yes! It’s called Where Sun Never Sets by The DUA Brand. It’s an excellent dupe, and it lasts much longer than the original. Beautiful summer scent.
