your message is so right and biblical which I didn't realize for a long time and even inherited for last 1700years. this is time to wake up for christians to repent and turn back to YHWH's true ways. Thanks
Exactly. Young children obey to be rewarded, but as mature, we obey because we love our parents. The children of Israel constantly failed and let God down until he wanted nothing to do with them. He pleaded with them to just obey. I want to please Him. Deu 5:29 O that there were such an heart in them, that they would fear me, and keep all my commandments always, that it might be well with them, and with their children for ever! Joh 14:15 If ye love me, keep my commandments. Be blessed.
As priests of the most high God, we now make spiritual sacrifices. But the requirements for how we conduct our lives has not changed. We are to be holy, which means "set apart". We are to discern "set apart" from profane. Clean from unclean. And hallow His sabbaths. 2Co 6:17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, These behaviors were not nailed to any cross. That is what being set apart is.
@DoorPostMinistries I agree we are a holy/royal priesthood. By our praises and obedience to the Holy Spirit is how we offer spiritual sacrifices. The Lord's prayer pretty much sums up how we do it.
@AlexandrosMykael You are correct. If someone is trying to keep the commandment to be saved, they will die. But some use this as a cop out to not obey the commandments. If we are truly following the spirit of the law we will be walking them out. Because the Spirit will lead us to walk them out. EZE 36:27 And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.

@DoorPostMinistries Sir, the grace of Christ is available to the whole world, to both jew and gentile. Through Christ, there is no longer any difference between the two in the life available through Jesus. Obedience comes only through Him. Whomever He sets free is free indeed !
The law mentioned in Romans 7 is the royal law, not the laws given for the theocratic rule of Israel. It is the moral law that Paul is speaking of. All Christians are commanded to put away the flesh and to live by it no more. He who lives by the flesh will die. He who lives by the Spirit will have life. Pick up your cross and follow Jesus. Die to yourself daily and walk in righteousness. Be ye perfect. Go and sin no more. It's clear what Jesus has commanded. Now DO it disobedient one.
The Vine and and the olive tree are two very different things. The verse in Romans is talking about an olive tree. Not a vine. It is in Jeremiah 11:16, that Yahweh identifies the Olive Tree as the symbol of Israel. "The Lord called your name Green Olive Tree, lovely and of good fruit."
@AlexandrosMykael Jesus was our perfect sacrifice laid down one time for all. It is His sacrifice alone that provides a propitiation for us. When you say we "sacrifice ... our flesh", what is the purpose of this flesh sacrificing and how do you know when you are doing it?
@DoorPostMinistries Colossians 2:14-16 "having canceled the charge of our legal indebtedness, which stood against us and condemned us; he has taken it away, nailing it to the cross. And having disarmed the powers and authorities, he made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross. Therefore do not let anyone judge you by what you eat or drink, or with regard to a religious festival, a New Moon celebration or a Sabbath day."
@DoorPostMinistries Yes, the law was an instrument to teach about morality and the requirements for redemption, that of shed blood. The commandments however, are not considered part of the law, but instead define love (vs sin). Jesus commandments therefore both mirror and expand upon the 10 commandments for that very reason. The law that we are commanded to keep is the royal law or Jesus' commandments (of love). Killing of sheep was only for the Israeli theocracy, and only before calvary.
One last thing, be a borean...Study Isaiah 65, and 66.......it describes the ones that YHWH is going to destroy in the final judgement........and they are ones who eat swine flesh......Not my words, our Father's.
This is prophetic. There are two sets of priests. EZE 44:10-14 There are priests that serve the people but do not come near YHVH. Then there are the sons of Zadok, or sons of righteousness, in EZE 44:15-16. These are the priests that come near to and minister unto YHVH. There is a clear distinction made between these two groups. All are priests, "or saved" but some have strayed from YHVH's torah. The sons of Z discern holy from profane, clean from unclean and honor His sabbaths. EZE 44:23-24
"The Law" means different things in different parts of the Bible. There is a royal law, which Jesus reiterated and expanded upon in His sermon on the mount. The royal law of love is but a summary of the 10 commandments showing how the Spirit of Love relates to moral obedience. Paul explains clearly the ceremonial laws and sacrificial laws (the law) cannot take away sin but were given as a curse to educate Jacob. Jesus means to obey His Moral Law, not Jewish ceremonies and traditions.
No fault found with the covenant. Fault was with people. Heb 8:8 For finding fault with them,.. Same law written on stone, now written on your heart. Rom 11:17 And if some of the branches be broken off, and thou, being a wild olive tree, wert graffed in among them, ... Eph 2:12 That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise,.. Covenants. Plural. A lifestyle for an already redeemed people. Not for salvation
Doorpost Ministries, I love your videos....I am newly torah observant. I do disagree with Jesus is God....He is the son of God, and that's what we are to believe. 1 John 5:5 Who is it that overcomes the world? Only the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God...1 john 4:15 All who confess that Jesus is the Son of God have God living in them, and they live in God..1 John 2:23 No one who denies the Son has the Father; whoever acknowledges the Son has the Father also. Blessings to you!
There should be no argument in this. Paul tells us specifically, that we are to uphold the law/establish the law. Rom 3:31 In Romans 7...14We know that the law is spiritual; but I am unspiritual, sold as a slave to sin. 15I do not understand what I do. For what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate I do. 16And if I do what I do not want to do, I agree that the law is good. Romans 8: 7 The mind governed by the flesh is hostile to God; it does not submit to God’s law, nor can it do so.
Actually, according to Jesus, he did not do away with any of the law or commandments. See Mat 5:17-19. He taught the principles behind it. Just acting out the letter of the law is not good enough. He wants it to come from our heart. Obey because we love him. As for sacrificing, you need a temple, can't do them anywhere you want. Even though Jesus fulfilled them all we now keep them spiritually as in burnt, meat, peace. We do this at the new temple, our brothers. Know ye not ye are the temple
Yeshua was already God. He became flesh. We are flesh, but we do not become gods. We become Godlike because he dwells in us and we are led by His Spirit so we take on His nature. But this is a work of the Spirit and not something we attain to. Our part is to love him and keep His commandments. When Yeshua said His two commandments were love God and our neighbor, he was summarizing the 10 commandments. 1 thru 4 on the 1st tablet, How to love God, 6 thru 10 on the 2nd, How to love our neighbor.
@AlexandrosMykael I'm not sure exactly what you are trying to communicate here. Jesus is the way to life. He is the vine and we are the branches. If we abide in Him, He quickens our flesh so that we may have abundant life, meaning righteousness. We can only put to death the works of the flesh (temptation) through the power of the blood of Jesus through the working of the Holy Spirit.
@RobertMOdell I do not disagree with you. As I said, and as it has always been. The stranger (Gentile) was always welcome to join Israel if they abided by the covenant. Exo 12:48 Also, Israel was commanded to do some things forever. Lev 23:41 And ye shall keep it a feast unto the LORD... It shall be a statute for ever in your generations: ... Since you are grafted into Israel, would these not include you now? Has nothing to do with salvation. It is obedience to His commands.
@DoorPostMinistries Nope. Jesus is the royal priesthood on the order of Melchizedek. We are a "holy" priesthood whose role is making spiritual sacrifices through the finished work of Christ. Those Ezekial verses identify the duties of Levite priests in the earthly tabernacle, not the duties of Christ and His priesthood. They were all nailed to the cross - completed and fulfilled.
@DoorPostMinistries There is One God, but two peoples. God made a covenant with Israel that He did not make with the Gentiles. Gentiles are not required to keep the cerimonial laws, the sacrificial laws, the dietary laws, the clothing laws, the governmental laws. But the Royal (moral) Law must be obeyed in both heart and deed by all: Love for your neighbor and love for God. Jesus is the life that enables such a love and obedience. Jesus is the image of the Father, God in flesh.
We are a royal priesthood and make spiritual sacrifices. 1Pet 2:5. Do you understand the requirements of a priest of God? Jesus fulfilled the requirements of the law, but did not cancel it. We are not under the law, but we are not above the law either. Jesus said not one jot or tittle would pass from the law. What does that mean to you? It means it is all still valid. The sabbath and entering God's rest are not the same thing. Find out the duties of a priest. Since you are one. Eze 44:23-24
Romans 8: 8Those who are in the realm of the flesh cannot please God. 9 You, however, are not in the realm of the flesh but are in the realm of the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God lives in you. And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, they do not belong to Christ.
You are correct about doing the will of the Father, but you are mistaking God's requirement for Israel to obey God's covenant with them, to Jesus' requirement to obey His commandments, which is part of a new covenant God gave to ALL people. Learn what are the commandments of Jesus and you will know the new righteous decrees of the Lord.
@MajesticMist Yeshua and Lucifer are not on the same level, nor can they be compared. Yeshua is the creator, God. By him, all things were created. Yeshua created Lucifer. Yeshua is the eternal, existent one, Lucifer is a created being.
Yes. 1Pe 2:9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood. Ezekiel is describing a future temple. He is not describing a stone temple. We are that temple. Know ye not that ye are the temple of God. This is real. Act 7:48 Howbeit the most High dwelleth not in temples made with hands; as saith the prophet, If Jesus abides in you, where will someone have to go to find him? They will have to go to you. You are his royal priest. We are kings and priests. Rev1:6 &5:10
@RobertMOdell Jesus is God. So he doesn't have different commandments. There are not two Gods, each with a set of their own rules. He added one though, love one another... But none were done away with. See Mat 5-17-19. This is where many err. They think Jesus is a different God then that of the old testament. Both covenants were made with a distinct group of people. Just like the old, the stranger is always welcome to partake of it by grasping hold of it and living according to the terms.
@RobertMOdell The two peoples are the house of Judah(Jews) and the house of Israel(Lost Sheep among the Gentiles). If you are a Christian, and not Jewish then you are descended from one of the lost ten tribes that were scattered throughout the world. Do you hear His voice? I believe you do. You are one of his lost sheep of the house of Israel that Yeshua came for. His lost sheep hear his voice. Gentiles do not. The things spoken to the house of Israel is to you. Mat10:6 and 15:24 Eze 37:15
The law, was never a means of salvation even though many think it temporarily was. Yeshua readily admits the law was never for salvation. Joh 5:39 Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me. Our mindset is wrong. The torah is instructions from God on how to live. Deu 29:9 Keep therefore the words of this covenant, and do them, that ye may prosper in all that ye do. Yeshua warns not to leave the other laws undone . See Mat 23:23
The word iniquity means "lawlessness" in Greek. The word law and order lawlessness is a really bad translation. It should say Torah! Torah is the first five books of the Bible written by Moses. The word Torah means "instructions" in right living. We must walk like the Messiah walked and He walked according to the Torah. It really doesn't make sense that He walked therefore we don't have to. Are we not supposed to be like Him?! (1John 2:3-6 and 3:4)
I guess I don't understand your terminology when you say "grafted" into Israel. Can you give me a biblical reference for this? We all belong to Christ, both jew and gentile. Jesus is our heavenly tabernacle and we have no need for one made of human hands. The Lord has found fault with the covenant He made through Moses, and replaced it with a new covenant. Jeremiah 31:31...
@DoorPostMinistries You are resorting to symbolism to say that we are still under the law. Do we or do we not still burn cattle as a sin offering? The answer is, of course we do not. Jesus fulfilled the requirements of the law so that ceremonies or sacrifices are no longer needed or relevant. Jesus literally IS the sabath rest and our one-time offering. The veil hiding the Holy of Holies was torn away since Jesus now mediates through His Holy Spirit. But His moral law will always live.
You are in error in saying that Christians are grafted into Israel. Christians are grafted into Christ alone, who is the True Vine. Same can be said for Israel and Judah. They must also be grafted into Christ, else the native vine will be thrown into the fire and burned.
