Colonial Charm Makeover

Join us as we restore the parlor in our 1812 home in Central Virginia! In this 10-minute video, we take you through the entire process:
-Removing wallpaper from the walls
-Scraping and restoring all the trim
-Repairing a rotted windowsill
-Spackling and caulking all areas needing repair
-Watch as we bring this historic room back to life with dark colonial blue trim and antique white walls. We also showcase a unique end table created from a 1900 era flywheel and a whimsical lamp made from a copper insecticide sprayer and pipe fittings.
As an added bonus, enjoy a special performance by Gill on the grand piano located in this beautifully restored parlor.
