People hated this? It doesn't sound half bad and I think it's a really solid tribute. It's also very unique visually. Lots of FNF mods are way too set into the format, this is a breath of fresh air in comparison.

i'd say my main issue with this mod is that the songs need to be stretched out, they feel like they're lacking and also need to be longer because some of the better ones end before they get good

Thats why I like this song, and others in mod: they try to be primarily creepy or unsettling instead of listenable, which is a much-needed breath of fresh air.

As a Lomando fan myself, I still can't believe Dead air made a fancy island song, even less that IT'S THIS GOOD OH MY GOD??? While I can see why the loud, distorted, chaotic mess this song is might not be appealing to some but I think it works really well here, because for me, this song perfectly encapsulates how playing fancy Island feels on your first time - confusing, chaotic, and scary. I love dead air's more experimental style of songs, and it works beautifully for Fancy Island.
