German Shepherds are foremost WORKING DOGS. Without good training they are a not a good pet.
With working breeds you must be dominant continuously, calm, and above all in control of every situation. Working breeds are powerful and intelligent, they WILL challenge and take charge if you don't train them. Without a job, they'll go into all the negative behaviors out of boredom.
It isn't fair to stress a dog out by replacing a husband with a confused pet.

German Shepherds are working dogs, they need a LOT of exercise, if you cant give that to them, don't own one.

Because people are never alpha to it, because they're not afraid of it. At least with a big dog. If it growls at you, you scold it, but people don't even scold little dogs. They just ignore it so that bolsters the little dog into doing it more, especially because the people usually leave them alone when they do it, meaning it was successful
Nah, its a large percentage, but their are some dogs with bad genetics. I.e. A LOT of pits. They can have great owners, and one day attack someone. Ive seen it time and again.
That isn't true. Some animals have malformed brains and it is more common in some breeds than others. Doberman were breed to have such thin heads for a while they became hyper aggressive. They had to start breeding them better because of it. Some breeds of dog were breed for dog fighting, and many still can't handle being around other dogs no matter how many generations haven't fought or how much training you do. Some German shephards are chill. Some do need a massive amount of training. There is a reason most bites come from specific dog breeds. Golden retrievers are not even a statistic because they simply don't bite people. They aren't trained any more often than any other breed. As a breed they are just not biters.
