My crew are going through it fast, I made that Veca's casting a Ritual and they have limited time before he gets through it. The link makes them roll 3 saves for each day that goes by, con wis int started with a dc of 3 and every day it goes up by one. Vecna steels their memories or vitality or thoughts.
