Strong order flow refers to a high volume of buying or selling activity in a market over a given period of time. Identifying and analyzing strong order flow is an important concept in technical analysis, especially for short-term traders. Here are some reasons why strong order flow is significant:
1. Confirms directional bias - Strong order flow, like heavy buying or selling volume, indicates there is conviction behind a market movement and confirms the current directional bias. It signals that market participants are actively getting behind the trend.
2. Forces price movements - Large order flows essentially force prices to move in the direction of the orders as supply or demand increases in the market. Strong buying flow forces prices up, while strong selling forces prices down.
3. Signals momentum - Persistent order flow builds market momentum as participants join the prevailing trend. This momentum generates further price movement rather than simple profit taking.
4. Indicates commitment - Strong order flow shows that traders are willing to back up their view on market direction with capital commitment. It demonstrates a confidence in positioning rather than hesitancy.
In summary, strong order flow reflects conviction, force, momentum, and commitment from market participants. Paying attention to surges in order flow is key for traders looking to enter trends early or position for breakouts. It represents an accelerating market movement backed by capital flows.
Mike I have been watching your content for some time now and have taken a course or two but for some reason this one hit home. I know you can look at hind sight and when you are in the moment trading it is harder, but please do more like this one. Thanks.
Been following you for a while, please keep uploading more footprint charts vids. I'm going to purchase your order-flow software soon. cheers
I love this content, please keep sharing
great video i would love more types of those videos maybe even in depth analysis or explanations for strong and weak orderflow
Thanks for the strategy, very helpful for beginners who are still learning like me in the nfc community.
What time frame do you use the imbalances on? Does it matter where the imbalances are in the candle? For example is it better to see the imbalance is at the bottom middle or top of the candle?
Good job
How do you interpret candles with positive Delta but close red or negative Delta but close green?
He is talking about that in some video's.......
thank you for this information --what software is showing you the selling & buying colour coded areas ?
I believe it's his custom built suite. If someone has a recommendation on a reliable order book that I can pull details from I could make a similar tool for open source and free use.
any reason you ignore email we sent by your website ?
How can I use you foot print chart please send me. A llink
can you please tell which website charts you are using and how can i subscribe to that please
He is using Ninjatrader....
You mentioned strong bids mean passive buyers right?
Yes
02/07/24 - Hi, my name is Valter and i'm from Brazil. I've been following you for a few days. I'd like to know in wich market do you use this tool? To be more especific, i'd like to know if you use this tool in the S&P500, Dow Jones or another market? In Brazil we have a single stock exchange, that is, all the flow is centralized in a single location, unlike the United States, where there are several exchanges for the same asset. My question is whether this tool can be used in descentralized markets like in the United States, for example. Thank you so much.
he posted a video on this on his channel 4 months ago👍🏼
Can I use that indicator on trading view?
No Trading view does not have level 2 data. The best it can do is a DOM with only a few steps on the ladder.
It's only for Ninjatrader
When are we going to get some live trading, so we are shore nobody is doing "cherry picking". There are more and more channels on RUclips doing real thing, for sure.
I can, as well, trade historical charts and make 100% of winning trades whole day every day and come up with great story as a bonus.
Hey, sir, we enjoyed watching the demo, but I feel we could benefit from testing this TV on some live sports etc. That's how you make a polite request.it's his time and his channel, and he can do as he sees fit.
It’s more that his channel is content around orderflow concepts to build your own trade ideas. In most of his videos he says it’s not smart to just see one thing happen and take a trade on it everytime. Orderflow works best in confluence with other orderflow or technical analysis. I personally have been testing ES on a 8 range chart utilizing Max and min delta with failed breakouts along with single prints. He never talks specifically about what i’m doing but i’ve studied his videos enough to compile strategies with orderflow. If you’re looking for some guy on youtube to say “do this and be a millionaire” you’ll get nowhere.
Where did you learn to write, ( shore ) ? for the real word (sure ) and the (whole ) day you mean ( all day ) , STOP WRITING UNTIL YOU LEARN TO DO IT PROPERLY. !! This hurts me to see people this uneducated !! GOD HELP YOU
I didn't understand a single thing what's the strategies for this type of candles? What are we looking for?
Numbers in those candles. And location of POC , Imbalance etc.
@@hellotrading3245 It's still not clear, how would this be useful in a strategy? A description of a strategy will be something like prices above the 200 moving average & volume candle above its ma, and rsi is above 60, then buy something like that, but I don't see what do these numbers mean whether to buy or sell?
