this version is scarier because somehow it breaks the "rule" that we have that nothing in the world looks like this, but her face breaks that rule, because it's all distorted and torn up
Actually granny is based on a true story.. it was about this elderly lady who was the serial killer, who killed her victims with a bat after she led them to her house and then chopped their limbs and put them in crockpots and trash bags

Did you know Granny was based on a true story? Tamara Samsonova, also known as Granny Ripper, held her son captive in her house. if he made any sound, she would brutally beat him with a bat, and on the 5th day, she killed him by hanging. Granny had 11 victims, including her husband and her grandson.
This story is truly horrific. I got this information on Google so don't blame if me if something's wrong.

The reason why Granny cooks people in this game is because Granny was actually based off of a real serial killer who cooked people. (The Granny Ripper.)

Huh. Honestly, this version did such a great job amping up the horror of the house, ambience, and with Granny herself...that I really don't like the note at the beginning about the soup. I mean, with the way Granny hovers and floats at you, it makes her seem more phantom-y and deadly, so giving her a clear goal and voice in the note actually makes it worse in my opinion. Just let the mystery of what she plans to do to you remain open unless you lose your fifth day.

The reason why the phone item probably moved is because on the rule board, it said granny could pick items up so maybe she moved it?
