I skied the Jungfrau Region for years from 1993-2007 Love viewing....brings back memories as now....artificial hip and those wonderful days are over. Thirty five years of skiing memories behind.
It's so great to see another perspective on Grindelwald and everything to it. I'm lucky enough to go there every year but then you dont appreciate it as much anymore as if it would be your first time. Is this your first time skiing? if so cool you've tried it :D Definitely challenging in the beginning. Just great video in general, enjoyed watching it.
It's too bad you could not learn skiing at a local slope where you live. Imagine you could run down any slopes at this resort and ski all day without getting tired (which is possible with proper technique). Also, I think my second-hand boots and skis cost about as much as you paid for three days of rental, and many airlines allow to check them in for free in the winter. In short, if you ski a lot, you get much more for less. Still, appreciate the fun of learning... you get that once in the lifetime.
Nice video. I will be visiting the Jungfraujoch in December... Once I get back to Kleine Scheidegg, and if I rent a sled, is it free to use the Beginners park track down to Brandegg? or do i have to pay to use the tracks?
You could either ski down or sledge down. Skiing would be free if you have the skis, boots and clothes, to sledge you would need to hire the sledge from Grindelwald, store it at KS and return it later to Grindelwald.
May I ask where is the ski rental shop located? Visited the Swiss ski school site but there is no 3-day (3 hrs/day) at 3 different ski areas group class for beginners. Did you book each lesson separately?
The ski rental shop is located near Eiger+ (the shopping mall in the Grindelwald village). I used outdoor.ch/en/outdoor-activities/adult-group-ski-lessons/ to book the "3 Days 3 hrs of lesson" option. Each day of lesson wasn't booked separately.
Hello! to ski in grindelwald, all i need to do is rent the equipment from either shops than take the cable cars up? or is there a specific resort that i hv to go to?

I'm privileged to have a week every year in this beautiful place and to ski virtually every piste. You too should try to make it an annual excursion.
Wow really cool video, I’m going to Grindelwald in 2 weeks and I can’t wait, after this video it even gets worse lol. I wanna go now 😩😩

Thank you! Glad you enjoyed watching it. I've skied a few times before in Japan, but first time in Switzerland.

I don't think there's a specific resort! You can access the various ski areas by taking train/gondola/ski lift from Grindelwald village
What month was this
May i get the contact of ski instructor?
Hi I am going to Grindelwald soon for holiday. Can a person with no ski lesson before to try ski in this beginner slope for fun? any advice?
