I have 1.5 year baby and he has hearing issues. I visited ENT specialist and he asked me to do ASSR. I want to ask ASSR is more accurate than BERA test? Secondly if ENT says to wear hearing aid then how much chances hearing aid will be removed as baby grows? If it depends on HL percentage and on what percentage hearing aid can be removed in future? Kindly guide me about it
If child has severe to profound hearing impairment, theres no chance you can remove hearing aid or cochlear implant.

mam mera bacha 8 saal ka ho gaya wah wah saaf nhi bolta h.. uska bera test karwaya tha usme usme bataya ki wah bahut tej aawaj sunta h.. Dr ne bola aap late ho gaye 4 saal ki umra tak iska opration ho jata rajsthan sarkar ki taraf se.. ab to kuch nhi ho sakta..
Operation k alawa bhi option hai.. Hearing aid pehnaiye aur speech therapy karwaiye..

Ma'am , My daughter got foot and mouth infection where she got rashes on her hands and legs in October 22 , After that she started hearing problem her right ear was completely blocked and went to pediatrician and they have given syrup and it was clear for some time and then again she has got the same problem .so we went to ENT and they cleaned her ears wax and and given syrup and she was alright.
Whenever she gets cold she has the hearing problem . Now her left ear also has the same issue and ENT said it will go off . Please advise

@@asktoanamika he is just 3 days in hospital doctor perform a normal hearing check placing machine the pediatrician noted that the right ear of the baby has passed the test but the left ear doing multiple time the test was failed . Doctor advised us to wait for 4 weeks and consultant an ent and later see what outcome comes...
Yes, its too early to conclude anything. Donot panic.. go for recheck and perform BERA. Till that time, talk to the child at the fullest. Watchout my video on neonatal hearing check

Mam my son is 8years he detected him moderate to severe HL before 2months n as per doc advise we fixed hearing aids in both the ears..we have taken all the tests ct everything..no issues in brain..now he is hearing with the help of hearing aids..but will the condition moderate to severe hearing may lead to profound or he will be okay with these hearing aids when he grow? Really worried about him pls clarify me..n how to take care of his lifestyle I donno..pls help me
Mam if you can do then 5to 6 drops of ghee of indian or desi cow in nose both time of day morning and night when he goes to sleep after some time hearing loss will recovered ghee can taken from any village area
