A quiet afternoon with the Pryor Mountain Wild Horses - July 30, 2023

A relaxing video with soft music just watching the wild horse herds of the pryor mountains.
I got the opportunity to go up to the Pryor Mountain Wild horse Range for an overnight stay July 30th. I hoped that I would be able to go more often this season but it was not possible.
I left Red Lodge early in the morning and took my time to enjoy the scenery and take in the wide open spaces. I realized that halfway up the mountain I had forgotten my battery charger for my good camera, and I only have 2 batteries. Instead of driving back down I decided to use my Iphone for some of the footage. It is a bit more flat looking than with the nikon but going back down was not an option at this point.
When I got to the top of the Mountain I found several herds down by the watering hole. I spent a lot of time there just watching how they take turns going in for a drink and a roll.
I enjoyed the company of the horses until they disappeared into the tree line. I got the jeep ready for the night and watched the sunset near Penns Cabin.
