They just dont make em like they used to. .. even if they aint "realistic" to todays standards. My ps2 will live on as long as it can. And yeah somehow my ps2 i had since 2003 is still going strong. . . Its even spruced up some. Over the years 3 tune ups. The first tune up i basically wiped out the original lubricants from the laser tracks put some better stuff in. Cleaned the insides out. GTA san andreas fully loaded 13 seconds quicker. Man i was happy to see those quicker loads. Mechanism sounded smoother. I should open it for another tune up. I think the last time i did was 2013. Its been awhile. Still humming along though.. still even have the modded software its not freeMCboot its the freeHDboot. Basically the same but its got a 250GB HDD in it. Got a pile of my Go-To games loaded on the drive to keep the disc drive "milage" down. Lol. Plus its got a pretty darn good NES emulator too.. jeez back then everyone wanted me to "fix" their ps2 to be like mine... .. those were the days.
Remasters usually don’t bring back the same memories. It’s just best to keep classics, classic. I’d rather play this on PS2 rather than PS5 because it’s nostalgia

I remember building my 96 impala SS up in this game exactly how it sits now in real life. 12” wide rear wheels, whine of a PD blower. Only took what, 18 years to make it happen? LOL. I don’t care if you were terminally Ill a half hour from death, when this intro hit at the main menu you’d be throwing bows and bouncing on the couch until it flipped backwards and you ripped the console out the entertainment center.
