That's color way is sick! I always get obsessed with the crank bearing spacers, I ground an old set of bearings for easy fit, so I can measure and then machine the spacer for the exact length, my cranks always run smoother than others, I also obsess about a straight chainline, so spline drive is necessary.. and then for whatever reason it takes forever to set up my brakes. I always think it will take an hour to build my bike, but it takes 4... All so I can go out and suck at BMX anyway, lol....
The short back end is the reason why I retired my Soundwave and bought a different companies frame. If Sunday would make a frame with a longer rear end I'd be first in line to pick one up. Gary Young signature frame!
You may have noticed I Always comment when you record Gary. Man I’d love to ride or hang with him. We do a lot of similar riding maneuvers when it comes to foot orientation and opposite spin tricks. Our bikes are very similar too. Holla when the next downside double peg clinic is, LOL, love seeing Dennis & Boyd do it now.
I've always been a fan of Gary Young since his Props Bio haha still seem like a nice humble person... it would be nice to meet Gary... you guys stay safe☺
I ride brakeless from time to time. The brake I use simply because its so easy to install is the Springfield. It works as good as my Evo 2 but lighter and quick install.
I’ve ridden for years and years. (15 or so) never built a custom bmx. Finally got the money to , but I have no idea about dimensions, parts etc. I am mostly Park. I’m 5’10. Trying to build a bike I can progress with. Any advice?
You can look for frames and parts that has similar geometri with the ones you used to ride. If it works, than why change it? Maybe upgrade to a better wheelset an drivetrain. But if you want to try out something new, you can try ones with a shorter chainstay or a steeper headtube and see how it goes.
I wondering who came out with the NightShift Frame Please Some Explain To Me I Finally Got One With All Gary Young Signature Frame Parts But Scratch My Head On My Frame Cause Idk If It's A Signature Or Not🤷🖤💙
So crazy how bike shops are doing right now. I work at one here in Utah and we're the same way. Sold a whole shipment of 52 Sundays in like a month and it's been real hard to get new product. Did big numbers at the beginning of the year when everything was stocked up and people were looking for outdoor activities though.
Gary seems like he would be a fun guy to ride with. I'm not a fan of uppity-asshole kinda people, so this is more my speed. Ive ridden brakeless since 2003, but going back to coaster.
@@Sunss Everyone has their own style. Gary was originally a dirt jump guy longer rear end was the norm for stability at speed. Gary is a fast & loose rider he likes the 23.75 rear end. Get what you like guy. Nobody is forcing you to ride that frame. It works for Dennis Enarson too. I prefer the 13.25 rear end. Honestly though if you ride long enough you can use to anything. My Haro master had a 68 degree head tube and a 14.75 rear end and I loved that bike. I was able to ride ramp, street, and flatland on it. The more you ride your bike the more you get use to it.
Why didn't you guys decide on brakes or no brakes beforehand? Why didn't Gary hustle?! It's almost like it's just friends hanging out and not really a challenge at all

I love the idea of watching pros build there bike up! Gives us a peek of there setup is and what parts they run.
Haha good to see pros building bikes!

The chainstay is still really long, a lot of frames now are 12.5-13
Gary is just a joyful person❤️💯

Nice parts, nice rider and nice video!
5:55 look like a pair of oldschool bmx hanging on the wall 🤔

Sunday makes the best frame in the game
And now we all see how you are best friends what a good time and what a laugh 😂

Not too steep of headtube angle or forks, longer rear end. Should be golden.

I've always wondered do u guys have any shops here in Las Vegas because all the other shops here are wack

Just ran a cross those exact same odyssey rims and tires 🤟🏾

basically surviving off of bicycle service right now haha

That press! Would be so clutch instead of the old hammer technique. I’m legit hard off of a new bike build lol
How can you not run slammed wheels, i have completely bent and ruined dropouts on 3 frames from not running my wheel slammed
did he put on his tires and pedals on backwards?😱
He puts his tires on backwards on purpose. Go watch the Sunday bike check they did...he talks about it.
It takes that long to build a bike?
Such a clean bike
this is why I built two bikes, love riding both brakeless and with brakes.
VAustin89 i don’t understand this. if you have brakes and want to ride brakeless, just dont hit the brakes
@@C_on_my_C do barspins the cable will get tangled up and catch barspins would hurt from the brake lever
yoo nice frame
I always used rubbing alcohol to put on my grips. It drys up in less than 10 min and it just slips right on
Fire!
The seat clamp comes free with the frame FYI they were probably hiding it from Gary to resell after
how long is the special long back end?
13.75 half inch longer
@@amberalexisfit I have a kink frame with a 13.75 backend and i fucking hate it.

Are the chain tensioners really needed?
"Between 15 min and 6 hours" Lol Gary
cameraman sounds like a amateur casting couch guy
Hairspray is the grip technique!!
Awesome vid!
hand sanitizer for the grips when they dry mf dont move... Make sure you use a fruity scented 1, due to them being sticker its perfect
Forest gary building a sunday bmx. Run Forest run.....
I’m sure I use to build a bike in around the 20 minutes without special tools 💪
I can build at least 2 full bikes maybe 3 in 52 minutes easily. He'll on Scotty Cranmers channel BK All Day built a bike in like 13 minutes flat...
BK is also a bike mechanic. Gary, clearly, is not.
Yooo 🔥💯💪🏼👊🏼🤘🏼🚲💨
선데이 시러이잉
that's why he didn't get to touch the bikes at BIKE USA... circa 98'
55 minutes isn't bad but isn't quick either.

I need a 1000 dollar bike
Yooo leave me a hearts pls🥺🙏
I build a bike ground up, with full brakes in 40 minutes on the floor!!! This guy is slow
Can you give me a bike someone stole mines pls
