Really intrigued by this. Electronic music is one of those genres I haven't explored much but which frequently piques my curiosity when I hear it if just because of the immense variety of sound and styles. In this piece the combination of classical and electronic elements was particularly fascinating, and it kept me interested with the changing textures. Perhaps my only criticism is that I could occasionally wish for more melody since the track is so dominated by texture, but the textures are nice enough that I wouldn't complain too much.
Thanks for checking out OPN. I would love to see you react to some of their more seminal pieces. We'll Take It, Long Road Home, or Lost But Never Alone would be my strongest recommendations. This new album also has some great tracks, my favorite is Plastic Antique. Even if its on your own time, you should definitely check them out, because a lot of the ideas you talk about here with classical and baroque composition really fit onto what you'll hear from those songs.
Lopatin is my favorite electronic artist. He's done a lot of great work (and helped inspire vaporwave). I love his mixing. Always really interesting stereo stuff going on. These days he's done some soundtrack work. R Plus Seven is my favorite album of his. His split with TIm Hecker, Instrumental Tourist, is really good too.

"Classical is really about death and layers"? No, that's totally another genre....
Aaaah, "depth and layers" 😊
