I wanna buy my first guitar, some recommendation for have a tone like you? (I love neo soul) single coil or humbucker what do you think? I´m from Chile ,so, sorry if my english is not perfect.
It all depends on what your budget is. I tend to prefer humbuckers for myself but single coil guitars, like stratocasters or telecasters are great for neosoul as well. As long as it sounds good with a clean tone, you really can't go wring with either.

How do you imitate the singing on the guitar??
I listen to every aspect of the vocal part in the song. Like not just the melody but the inflections like vibrato and such. Then I transcribe it... Once I have it under my fingers I can start to try and make it my own.
