The faith-based studio that brought the "Sound of Freedom" to the world with a stunning impact at the box office is now bringing the "Sound of Hope" to theaters as well.
The movie is called "Sound of Hope: The Story of Possum Trot." It tells the true story of a pastor and his wife who lead a small community in east Texas to embrace children in the foster system no one else wants to adopt.
What they accomplished was truly remarkable, changing the lives of 77 children in the process.

I was a foster child, and I was adopted by my Foster Parents Jim and Stella Patrick in 1986 when I was 14

The child actors in this movie gripped my heart. Whew. Well done children 👏
A number of families in my church have fostered and adopted children. It is not an easy journey to care for wounded children!
As a child of the system myself. This movie hits home soo much. In 85' I was put with an amazing family, after several very abusive families. That me and my siblings stayed with. And I will say, this family made me feel like I actually belonged and truly was cared about. The absolute torture, that my siblings and I endured. Is exactly why I am a very strong individual. God allowed me to "endure" rather than just survive. I was blessed enough to break the extreme abusive chain. From my biological family. Thank you precious Lord Jesus for saving my life❣️❣️ and I pray for the children growing up in so much evil these days. My only advice to these precious gifts from God. Is to hold your head up,Never EVER allow someone to make you feel anything but love. If people around you can not show the proper love to you. Get to someone and tell your story. Love yourself, because Jesus loves you that much. Always, ALWAYS, ALWAYS, let Jesus Christ guide your steps. He will NEVER lead you astray. God bless everyone reading this. I also was a child of the system,from age 8 to 18 was in foster care;first foster home I was in was good,very loving italian family that didn't do it for the money,only had foster kids to help out/raise kids that were disadvantaged/abused;unfortunately that foster mom lost her license because of going into the hospital for heart issues;most other foster homes I was in after that,only did it to be paid by the state(of Cali() was abused,SA, & used by foster parents after that-every year foster parents were given a clothing allowance for me,they took that money,spent it on their own kids & bought me clothes from yard sales & thrift stores-really sucks that as a lil kid,you realize the only reason you're in their home is because the state pays them for you
This should be the goal of every Holy Ghost filled believer!!

Just an extraordinary group of God-loving and fearing people to lay themselves down for others. Especially for these abused and lost children. The foster system couldn't have given such love and hope to these babies.
May God's blessing be in abundance for each in this church who went beyond just carrying their cross but carried crosses for the weakest of us. Thank you and thank CBN for sharing the story..
