Good Tuesday morning Mike! Sunny and a cold 29 degrees here in the Heartland! Nice to see number 5 making a short-order stop this morning out there! Hope you are a bit warmer there! Tomorrow is predicted to be a light amount of snow for us! Stay warm out your way Sir! I’m doing my best to do that here! Mark in Iowa.
Good morning, Mark; Thank you for dialing in and the comments today. It has made it to 29 F. here @ 0941 MST. The wind is starting to pick up and is to be forceful for the rest of the day. Oh well. Tomorrow back into the 40s and 50s. Snow? What's that? I've read via the computer that it was snowing here when the sky was clear. Typical "Automated Idiot" telling me what isn't happening locally. MicroSoft has not figured that out yet. Same with the weather service. LOL! Anyway, have a great Tuesday back there. Please take care, stay warm, and safe!
Good morning, Mike; I thank you for stopping by and the comments. Other than the chill it was an easy morning on the platform. Time for coffee now. Plese take care and stay safe!
Good afternoon, Ken; I thank you for stopping by and the comments. Yep. I was first in line at the drive-thru I use for the starter coffee. Didn't take long to enjoy it either. LOL! Have a great afternoon and evening back there. Please take care and stay safe!
Good morning Mike from cloudy misty 61 mid Tenn. But winter resumes tomorrow. Now that's a unusual stop, on time, no boarding, no detraining, just stop and go. No greeting, no coffee, just go.
Good morning, Ben; Thank you for stopping by and the comments. Yep. that was a no-nothing stop, today. At least that put them early as they departed for Denver. That type of stop happens here more than it seems. And it is the time of year between Thanksgiving and Christmas for gathering the presents and planning that trip for the Holidays. I am trying to buffer the chill a bit before it moves east from here. Don't think it will do much good. Anyway, have a great Tuesday. Please take care and stay safe!
Wow, Zephyr must be having a good run. Only a minute late. We have had a break in the weather but it is going to drop off again tomorrow. Clouds rolling in. Hope you have a good day. Stay warm. Thanks for the Zephyr.
Good morning, Ginny; Thank you for dialing in along with the comments. I'll try to take some of the bite out of this chillier weather that is headed your way. LOL! I hope that you enjoy today. Plese take care and stay safe!
Good morning Mike. Nice easy stop this morning. No passengers on or off. Looks cold this morning. Not much happening today. Wife off to volunteer at the information desk at the hospital. I will see what I can do. PT went well yesterday, but I will never be able to walk very far or drive. I love to drive so that’s very hard not be able too do. I am not complaining. You have a great day, and be safe. Enjoy your video every morning.😊😊😊😊😊
Good morning, Gerald; Thank you for dialing in and the comments. The wind from the west did have a nip to it this morning. My nose was running like a well in the chill. Tomorrow we return to the upper 40s and 50s. I hope that you enjoy the rest of the day and coffee this morning. Please take care and stay safe!
The only passengers getting off are Angela and her Rottweiler Pitbull fiancé Ty Matthewson after a day trip to cope with her pregnancy prior to her birth of two twin kittens (babies).
As someone has said, easy job today. But it looked cold and seemed lonely to me, for you to be the only greeter for the Zephyr today. It would have been great if Darrell could have handed you a hot coffee.
Good afternoon, Paul; I thank you for dropping by and the comments. It was on the chilly side out there this morning. Fortunately, the heavy parka, mittens with hand warmer packets and a bit of cover from the wind were in use. The promise of a hot cup of coffee also played into that. LOL! We may get to see Mr. Darrell one more time after Christmas. I hope his plans for the future work out for him. Anyway, have a great evening over there. Please take care and stay safe!
Good afternoon, Frogfather; Thank you for stopping by and the question. Yes. The AMTRAK trains have scheduled station stops and Fort Morgan is one of them. The days o lag stops is long past. Even with a manifest of passengers, that may be amended by a late purchase of a seat. Hope that you have a great afternoon and evening. Plese take care and stay safe!

A thought: they have a manifest so know who's getting on/off and yet they still have to come to a complete stop. Are they required to do that?
