Neat build. I like to combine execution chance with health steal on my scythes and strength, wrath steal and ice damage in my heavy secondary weapons. Combining execution chance and health steal on scythes result in a full health meter with any execution.
I've overloaded my Crit Build. Apparently on the Deathinitive edition, my damage output with a single hammer swing or Scythe toss will freeze the entire game on yellow damage numbers. The hammer outputs up to 40,000 damage on a good hit. The game apparently doesn't like anything over 60,000 in one second, so hitting two enemies with the hammer can fuck me over. Same with the Reaper freezing my game on the arcane build.
@@itarH that bug can be triggered even at low damage too, this game is just very buggy sometimes. Did you know that you can't max the shadow setting otherwise you will crash the game?
How is it long range combat? It's more keep away combat. And even then, why do they even have that option? It's a hack and slash bro, not relax and sit back.
@@charlieflight6124 I'm my experience I summon 3 ghouls and ravens and will add support fire with redemption which in return gives me back wrath and health thus repeating the whole process yes its a hack and slash but it has rpg elements that can change your playstyle
@@nestormelendez9005 If they had dedicated ranged weapons like strife's multiple ammo types in Genesis or maybe a bow or something, I would believe that. But as it stands, there wasn't anything like that. That's more like a sub class instead of a build.
@@charlieflight6124 sure but necromancer is still objectively a long range build since you can let your lackeys do most of the work while adding your own physical interaction if chosen or just stay with redemption. Add more that you can further specialize in with by increasing your arcane making necromancer more effective
for addition, change your secondary wp to gauntlets and add life and wrath steal, strength and resistance. change your scythe health and wrath steal and get an elemental effect + strength. Thank me later
It has been a while since you wrote this comment but are you sure 2ndary weapon's Life/Wrath Steal works on Main Weapon? I know for a fact that Strength - Arcane - Defense - Resistance - Regen etc on a 2ndary Weapon helps Main weapon passively, but Life/Wrath steal are both actives not passives afaik. Long story short: Are you 100% sure mate? Also Elemental Damage on weapons are effected by Arcane stat, on a pure STR build elemental damage is not very effective. Only Frost is logical to slow down enemies but with best defense gear (Juggernaut Epic set) like that and Life Steal on top of it, I doubt anyone needs to slow down enemies. (But if you are right about Wrath-Health steal on 2ndary Weapon working for Main weapon as well, that only leaves Elemental Damage for the Main one's 4th Stat, so under those circumstances it is the perfect choice indeed)
I prefer heavy weapons as secondary and i mostly focus on damage for my seconday and also ice enhancement for my secondary so that a heavy attack will freeze enemy's and then i can still do damage with overpower and my scythes plus going to town with my hammer still. But yeah heavy weapon as secondary with ice enhancement plus heavy damage is my preferred secondary weapon
@@demran I didn't know that somebody replied to me. And here i am replying to an old reply. And i wasn't saying that secondary weapon life/wrath steal will work on main. I was saying for him to change it to gauntlet, since gauntlet have weird effect of achieving 95% life/wrath steal if it's a possessed weapon. And it would have helped him because all that it needs to refill your wrath or hp to full was just one hit from secondary weapon, and after that you can change back to main weapon easily. Ice on scythe freeze enemy not slow them, it is a very good cc and yes it is affected by arcane stats but it's never the damage i'm looking for, it's the cc effect of the ice element or stun element for lightning. Or if you don't like that, piercing damage will also do it.

I'm replaying the game for the first time, I'm doing a only scythe and Harbinger power run but I also want a high execution chance. it's hard finding the best items and then requires calculations to do good builds. I'm now headed into the gilded arena.
I think necromancer is better 1. You have things to fight for you 2. You wont be getting hit because of deaths allure 3. My arcane and acane crit damage is at least 500+ 4 my arcane crit chance is 100% 5. Aegis guard makes your powers even stronger 6. My crows do 8000 damage :3 7 my ghouls do 1,000 damage per hit x3 and when they explode doing 20,000 damage So ya necromancer is better. I rest my case :D
My go to is: For scythe: Crit chance, crit damage, health steal, execution chance. For Heavy secondary: Crit chance, crit damage, health steal, Strength
I've made a critical harbinger with about 4 or 500 critical multiplier and 90% Critical Chance with the buff from Unstoppable active. It also has health steal. I also would beg to differ that the crit harbinger is the most powerful harb build, I think my Reaper build lives up to that title better, but hey, maybe I'm biased : $
Ehh it's ok. I got 85% crit chance and 420% crit damage on both my weapons. 436 strength, 709 defense, 117 arcane and 312 Resistance. And that's without Unstoppable.
I'm going to assume you did the Sticks and Stones quest? Without going full critical reward there, that's impossible. I went a bit into it. My Crit Chance is same as yours. Damage is 400% with Unstoppable. However a lot of the stonebite rewards were spent on the previous Arcane build. So I didn't get the chance to get quite to your level. I still have Lostlight, Earth, and Shadows Edge in the New Game + to get the last stones from.

So i found out for possessed scythe to upgrade it you need 1 item with critical damage it can be a tailsman sacrifice it than sacrifice legacy artifact inherit critical damage find critical chance.tailsman sacrifice it than sacrifice legacy artifact inherit critical chance and find strength tailsman sacrifice it than sacrifice legacy artifact inherit strength from there you sacrifice 2 legacy artifacts only and inherit health steal if u dont see it come up press lb do it again until it shows than afterwards drop weapon pick it up again all upgrades will still be on the weapon doing the drop will allow u to keep further upgradeing the weapon when the skulls reset also make sure the non upgraded possessed scythe doesn't say critical chance or critical damage when doing this avoid tailsman that say arcane critical damage arcane critical chance arcane strenght only buy ones that say critical damage critical chance and strenght so after u do all these steps you can sacrifice only legacy artifacts only constantly to further upgrade the possessed scythe same thing with secondary weapon only this time u will need wrath on execute and not health steal
the last thing u sacrifice when bar is amost full it will show the stats upgrade of that particular weapon, so u can cheeze it 1st sacrifice random trash then at last sacrifice the one u want the stat of.
I have a build with Primary Weapon rating:1643 and Secondary:4646 Damage per/sec Primary:6274 and Damage per/sec Secondary:7709. Crit Dam. 221% and 189% After Unstoppable : 1776/5008 and 6781/8310. I wonder Who's is stronger.

U can turn the dmg Numbers off in the settings. Got. the Same Problem and fixed it with that

Necromancer is a long range combat and harbinger a close range combat... many dont get that
Harbinger is my preferred build in all my hack and slash i prefer getting up close and personal

champion arena which has 100 lvls open chest at lvl 95+ (no gap's in between) u will get great items,but they are random

Hmm yeah just tested with a 2ndary Weapon with Life Steal, and main weapon doesn't steal any life at all. (PC - Deathinitive Edition)

200% for stonebites, 10% is for 2 strenght an 1 resistance

Necromancer is more powerful, Harbinger od more fun.
But what about the beginning of the game? Harbinger is much easier to start with. Do you prefer to start with necro build anyway?
To be honest watching both videos Harbinger is just faster. He takes half the time to down this boss than he does with necro. Necro is just safer.

no you are right man harbinger is more powerfull then necromancer build..but others liked my necro more then harb
Crit Necro gives you the same or better dmg than crit harb with less work required to execute the build, thats what makes it overpowered.

You failed. Could have used abysal gear for critical chance and put bite stones into critical bonus... easily 100% critical and maybe 400+ bonus
