Here I am waiting for an AI that would actually do my retopology, yet this technology is being used to generate an infinite amount of slop, its baffling.
Thats what most actual artists do. Get the tedious onto AI and let me do art. I would like AI UVs AI retopo ect. Now let me art and let AI do the chores
Not AI but algorithm, Exoside Quad Remesher and 3Dcoat;s remesher to name a few, I think a paid plugin for Blender N-gone
AI is only minor tool to help you, not to make the final product, you can use it for thumbnailing or storyboarding, if you try to use it as the main character or NPC;s you;ll get hate
@@MangaGamified i used most of those addons they are pretty useless and they also don't work for final product AI can help with but again alone cannot be perfect

Will it benefit Indie Game devs who lack artists? Sure, but when you crank out AI models to put in your game and it has no coherrant style overall, people are just going to leave.
@@Shooha_Babe Don't think people will care that much TBH. It's like the industrial revolution. Are there still artisans that can make you a set of robust incredible looking furniture? yes. But is that what we buy? rarely if ever. You'd just go to ikea or similar and buy a set of cheaper furniture there. It looks like wood and kind of feels like it but there is just trash underneath a nice coat of paint.
This feels just like it and I don't see people ever stop buying ikea furniture.

Thank god these are basically useless for now... The geometry is so ass you cant really do anything with them aside from slop... This still has quite a way to go until it can replace anyone. if you want to change colors of things or manage UV's also doesnt work... People who know what they're doing wont use this for things as complex as character.
probably good for thumbnailing and storyboarding, or use as a joke/hated character

I understand that the technology isn't good enough yet, the textures aren't great and you can't re-texture them either due to the terrible topology. No-one in their right mind would use this tool for modeling main characters, but this could be helpful for creating a bunch of background actors or objects.
100% i was thinking its quite useful for small things like a bench or an axe or something that you would rather not create. but yeah main characters not good the topology is quite bad and unnecessarily high.

At least you're being honest "made" I still believe genuine artists will always be appreciated by those who care for soul, like none of these models impress me also I work my ass off still in 3D because I love it, and I hope that matters to people because I intend to put my work out there regardless of AI.
yeah i think it does matter and i think you can tell the difference between an original and AI made model at least at this point. keep up the good work my friend.

AI will never be artistic, artists are people not machines. You can't have the experience of creating art by just typing in prompts.

Ai serves nobody except for the big corporations that employ the ai and the ai companies themselves
