10-15 pounds I bet not much really. If there is a version of the xr250 engine that has E start then yes. look for a 4 wheeler with a version of the xr250 engine and e start
Yes sold last week. Electric start was done using TRX400ex parts crankshaft, balancer, flywheel, starter gear set, starter, left engine cover, and ignition box.
Craig Mantoani Its not a kit. The parts came from the honda trx400ex 4 wheeler which shares the same base engine. During the rebuild I swapped over a new trx crank, balencer, flywheel, left engine case, starter gear train, starter and ingintion control box. Honda did the same thing for the Japan only xr400sm but never sold it in the states.
Very nice! I wish you were in California I would swooped it up. I love my XR4 but wished it was plated.
Nice clean build, i own a 2000 stock xr400r. Did it sell?
How much weight do you think the e-start adds, and will it work on an '96-up xr250? Thanks

what did you use to spray the side covers?
There were new. There is good plastic specific spray paint at most stores that would do a good job freshening them up
back fender and front headlight are ugly as fuck!!!!!! keep the stock look mate! nice bike !!!
