Kadoc's name is so un-Polish that I only found out today that we are from the same country. Either way, the theory behind the origin of his name seems logical.
zemlupus → lupus → wolf → Witcher 3 and now that I think about it, white hair, anti-beast magecraft that is on the verge of being outdated, the guy is literally a Witcher.
Fujimaru being a pun of FGO was a surprise to know about. Wonder if this implies the Grand Order isn't a thing but a person. Reminds of the very first person to mention the term, Artoria Alter who is still waiting in the burning city of Fuyuki.
If you read Epic of Gilgamesh, he actually passed by a mountain called Mashu right before meeting Siduri. I assumed thats where her name was initially inspired from, since the word Chaldea also appeared in it. Chaldea is a country.
As a portuguese speaker, the fact that Cerejeira is just cherry tree is so funny. The thing is that it is not even that weird of a name, if it was her last. Last names like laranjeira (orange tree), oliveira (olive tree) and carvalho (oak tree) are incredibly common, but it had to be her first name. Elron is also not portuguese, but hebrew. Meaning something like "God's song".
Can't believe that you didn't brought up Fou : Fou -> Fou(r) -> IV -> Beast IV. It's especially obvious in Japanese because they just straight up use the pronunciation of Four (フォー)
About Daybit, the Sem in his name could also be translated from Portuguese, as Sem is without, in a context of lack of or without something, in this case without void. I also think the void part could refer to shadow, so he would be Daybit without shadow.
For the longest time, I just thought that Daybit's name was a translation error to english, like how the english localization of FGO F'd up Artoria (アルトリア "A-ru-to-ri-a") as Altria, but no. The last katakana in his name is indeed pronounced with a T sound. Daybit in katakana is (デイビット "De-i-bi-t-to"), while David is (デイビッド "De-i-bi-d-do").
Potentially an unpopular opinion, but there is nothing iconic about Ritsuka Fujimaru. Well-know? Obviously. Popular? Debatable. But iconic? The character is blander than a loaf of white bread with no jam or flavouring and with the crust removed.
@@namasteku6329 If you're talking about Beryl's charm skill in gameplay, no man. But at least Mash snapped out of it. But if you're talking about Bogart… Dude, the NTR didn't happen. Mash pushed the NTR Lion away from her before it could happen and that "marriage" was and is fake.
People forget that the OG romaji for Mashu's name was Matthew, as it was writen in her OG valentine CE
Lmao, still remember when that happend before it got fixed.
Wish it managed to stay as a meme later on
So... "Ritsuka Fujimaru" is basically "John FGO"
Nah, make it more gender neutral , bro
J. FGO

Despite being called _"Jingle Abel"_ , Meuniere hasn't really factored into any Xmas event.
Also, let's not forget.
Beryl "Gut".
And he's, y'know, a murderer?

To be fair, magus families tend to have weird names.
So "The Gods Song of the Cherry Tree"
Bro was so unmotivated about theorising the meanings of Beryl Gut's name that he even skipped his surname and barely talked about his first name lol 😂
Makes you wonder why he even bothered to bring him up. He also skipped over the fact that Beryl is also a type of gem, although I forgot what color.
1:55-1:59 so we're just gonna look the other way and pretend nothing happened there.

I wish Altria was just a bad localization. No, Nasu himself insists that the name be spelled that way and wouldn't allow any other spelling.
Nasu himself spells it as artoria but keeps saying it's written altria without knowing how it sounds in English 💀
Kadoc/Cadoc is actually a real name. It's Welsh, though. To be fair, I was suprised by it myself.
Mashu-Mathew.. still cracks me up
Morganite is an orange or pink variety of beryl gemstone so if you know you know
Huh, apparently Kadoc's name is close to the Polish word for Devil, Kaduk
Is that Your Name footage at the start while you talk about names?
Okay, everyone clicked in this video are rainbolt-rock addicted weebs who got baited by the word "spoilers"🐸
Who is that wolf girl I keep seeing every time I see a clip of the cosmos Lostbelt
She's not a wolf but a cat and is Atalanta alter

Gudao yeah
Gudako no
For Wodime, yeah. Also, I don’t blame ya for not wanting to talk about Beryl. To quote Walter White: He deserves to die.
Because beryl make fujimura get ntr by furry
