first time editing/doing this type of video, any input is goated just keep it respectful. also i realized this is more a 'warm-up' than 'aim-training' but that shows how much i experience i have in 'practicing' my aim or 'warming up' LOL but now i know
as a fan of jolly since his siege content creator times, i think it's important to tell people in the comments that jolly is very proficient and has years of FPS/CSGO experience, naturally i believe it would be harder to find him an actual effective aim trainer that would improve his already really high foundation. I highly advice people to find and try an effective aim training routine as it has helped me tremendously.
@@gitgud1555 start with a aim trainer benchmark like vt benchmarks for a bit, then figure out what youre good and bad at and find/ make a playlist based off those weaknesses and strengths. if you dont wanna do that, vt has a valorant playlist and i also like g2 avovas
also valorant csgo and tact shooters alike arent the grail of aiming like people said, it is all crosshair placement, sure some flicks happen but for the most part you dont have to aim if ur already on target. if u want aim play movement shooters
im glad you mentioned that players with lower mechanical skill will benefit more from aim training, because that's really the demographic that will see the more improvement. but on top of that, aim training is more nuanced than how you approached it in this video. the miyagi method is good as a warmup, but it doesnt really isolate specific aspects of aim that aim training routines work through. flicking, microadjustments, tracking, etc., people dont really think about what parts of their aim are weak and fail to approach aim training with a goal in mind. in addition, i dont think a week was nearly long enough to see if aim training was really beneficial for you. generally, people in the community see more improvement as they maintain the routine, and as i mentioned before, focusing on improving weak parts of aim. of course, your aim is still ridiculously good, so maybe it would have done nothing still, but for the sake of answering the question in good faith, maybe doing it for longer wouldve really driven the point home. for your average joe reading this, if you want to focus on really aim training, join the aimlab / kovaaks discord and talk to people who have the experience. it has a lot more depth than most people realize, and if you do so consistently and with a goal in mind of what you want to improve on, you'll see results.
@@jollyfps yeah no worries, its understandable. its a bit of a niche rabbit hole, but as a whole still a good video! your mindset in approaching the topic of aim training was very open and refreshing, really sets a standard for how people should be thinking about new ideas. keep it up man

as a former aim coach for cod, I found out that aim training is to improve muscle memory but once you reach a certain level it is more to maintain your muscle memory, like normal physical muscles, it needs maintaining to remain consistent
Yes but muscle memory is aim literally and for cod especially stuff like kovaks are gonna make u a god in games like cod and battlefield but at least for it's just harder to develop good aim in valorant or cs with aim training but it's quite easy for cod and games like that
@@vuga825 exactly and you can only develop it to a certain point using the same routines and scenarios, and I completely agree to the fact that aiming mechanics are different from game to game, for cod it's more tracking and first shot accuracy, spray and pray + movement, where as in Valorant is more heavy on crosshair placement and micro adjustments to get those clean taps (edit: if you don't see improvement and your aim is considered bad, your focusing on the wrong things)
jolly please can u make a video on all your nvidia control panel settings please i would watch it a lot because it helps a lot and also i dont know much about the settings because ur game looks so vibrant and smooth so please can u :)
Miyagi method is the biggest scam i have seen its trash the only way u can make ur aim good is to play dm and rank or just ranked. aim labs and kovaks are not gonna do much if ur above plat even tho i still play kovaks but for fun not for my valorant aim

Jolly has already hit a peek in his aim where aim training won't make it worse or better. He's just that good.
