i’m convinced you’ve never been inside a supermarket before, you didn’t need to waste money on the shop expansion. You’ve got so much empty space, you just need to optimise the placement of shelves

Licences are the most important thing in this game! Customers will buy more items = more money.
It's quicker/more comfortable to type the amount to card readers via keyboard
Another tip: if you are busy doing something else, you can always box up the counter and redirect them to cashers.

PLEASE just open a shelf for products that give you the most profit. Also just put a bunch of shelves in the store without expanding, the customers don’t care if the store is jam packed or not.
You can type on your keyboard for the card payments and then press enter to complete it.
There are already mods available for the game. There's a Portable Scanner mod which lets you scan items directly to your cart. It's a game-changer.

Tip for the till:
If they pay with change you can press Space to finalise their change.
If they pay by card you can use your numberpad to type the numbers and press Enter on the numberpad to finalise the sale
you can fit like 42 shelves, 4 freezers, and 12 big fridges in that amount of space btw

pro tip: you can type numbers with your keyboard when the customers are paying with card
When something runs out, instead of buying 1 (which will be used to refill the shelves) buy 2 or more of those things, so you actually have stuff in the storage.

U can actually put the price higher, but not more than 15 cents... level 53 is here! I aso round up my prices so its way easier to give change, for example : if the market cost is 14.29 I set it at 14.40, if its 25.58 i set it at 25.70, so i stay within 15 cent range. U get it, it made it so much easier for me.

So you don'y have to constantly buy so much stock everyday, you should probably just have more of everything in storage and in the shop, earn money, and get enough stock so you don't have to buy any for 3/4 days, you have a lot of free space in storage to do that. Like a full storage shelf for toilet paper, chickens, etc. And the others get two spaces each.
Get a back to back shelves with just doubles of the big boys of potatoes and toilet paper stacking them out. So they never run out at 6pm. Buy 3/4 in the morning as you only get 4 stock per order. Should be less pain like current

This Series is like a blessing in the month of Ramadan, i eagerly wait for it everyday, when Simon's gonna upload the next part of "Supermarket Simulator"

I think the best way of stocking is to fully restock the product when it fully runs out, so the medium boxes fit 2, the small boxes fit 6 and the really small boxes fit 9 or 12 maybe? If you fully restock the small ones you won't have to restock them for ages so it means you're not buying as much stock every day. It'll be expensive to start but definitely worth doing. It also stops the issue with having a bunch of boxes on a shelf but only 6 products or something. The stockers pick up the last box that was put down, so if you fully stock up they will run out evenly!

yo I saw letsgameitout's vid on this and he found a glitch. If you take your cash register or any thing and put it into the box then throw it on the ground and reload the game the register will still be there in its box and where you took it from. Then sell one and you can repeat the glitch until you get infinite money. It might be pached but idk
For the pricing i round mine up to the nearest .25 and i havent had an upset customer about it. Even if its 12.52 an i round up to 12.75 theu dont complain. Also the people still buy other stuff even if they arent happy with the prices.
Simon you need to buy 2 of everything whenever something is out of stock in your storage room. Please save yourself some time and and angry only buying 1. Love the videos from Texas!
Another tip: when it hits 9pm let the stockers stack everything before ending the day. Helps to start the next day fully stocked, then you should stock the storage room fully and then open up. You'll end up having to stock a lot less and you'll end up making more money.

You can buy all the stock before opening the store. It makes it so much easier to organise and stay on top of stock

With the card machine. You can actually type the number and also you press enter not space to enter the price.

I use the number keys and enter button on the card reader makes it quicker
with pricing: i round up to the nearest 10 cent! that way checkout is also easier too
One suggestion: You should add 10 percent profit for each item to make fair prices and i think you won't get angry customers 😅😂
Hey just a tip…….. you can box your counter up if you don’t want to serve costumers and leave the box where it is 👍👍✅✅✅✅ put it back up when your finished your tasks

Advice: Make a whole shelving unit for toilet paper only. I did this early on and it helped so much!
Don't get more space, utilise what you have. Get entire shelves for toilet roll and potatoes, and get another cashier while you focus on restocking and buying.

And also just stock up completely like to the top and wait for the stockers to stock every up fully before starting the day that way you can plan the day without worrying a lot.Great series mate ❤

Sometimes I judge but most times I don’t even pay attention to what I’m scanning and just keep the line moving. Quicker you take them quicker the line disappears and then you can relax
If you know that chicken toilet paper and potatoes are going like crazy so instead of ordering it every 5 mins why don't you order them at once like 10-15 boxes at once anyways you have that extra space in storege and so you don't have to pay delivering cost also, I mean idk anything about the game like how it works just suggesting
By the way, on the card reader, you can type in the amount now rather than pressing it with a mouse.

You can pick any of the open licenses that you want for the next products, also you can wait to open the store until after you have done your buying for your stock and letting your stockers stock everything.

You could get a fourth cashier desk, place them all by the door / windows in a row. Then put the shelves in rows rather than around the walls. So much space would be saved and look better.

for any card purchases, you can type the price and click enter to confirm it. dont need to use your mouse to click each individual button
I had the same thought about npc to deposit the ordered items from outside into storage but when u get further along you would be doing nothing on your own besides ordering the stock, because you can have 4 automatic checkout npc's and 4 restockers sooo idk If it would be in best interest for the game or not

Put a new shelf in the corner solely for Toilet Roll. The whole 4 shelves.
Use the empty back of the other shelf solely for Potatoes.

as a former retail worker (was horrible i have to say), there would honestly be so many people coming in and out of the shop to the point where i was hardly paying attention to what i was scanning other than stuff from off licence because i needed to verify ages, but my favourite order i ever did was a woman who just bought every single selection box in the shop and i almost burst out laughing scanning them through

you can hire another cashier, while you are busy restocking, then fire him, if you're done fully stocking in this game.

i dont judge what people buy, i judge people when they hold up a queue only buying 1 thing when we have a self checkout system
