This is the style I have asked for but never gets cut like this. I had this style in high school. LOVED it. I saved your video with the hopes of finding someone who can do this cut.
@@babyprecious9147don’t get a perm! It will never lay the way you want it to with a perm because it’s chemically treated to go it’s own way. Into little curls. I used to always get perms too but I’m glad i stopped getting them in the end of the 80’s because with straight hair you can do anything you want with your hair.
YOU ARE THE BEST STYLIST THAT KNOWS HER STUFF!!! Thank you for your generosity in giving us a chance to see how much technique is needed to achieve the best possible result!!! Love you….appreciate you!! God bless you immeasurably beautiful woman!!! Wish you were here in Texas ❤
You absolutely deserve to know how much you are appreciated and valued by everyone who has the opportunity to check out your content!!! Just wondering….is there anything similar about Heather Locklear’s famous hairstyle to the others famous styles that you have shown in your videos? (You remind me of her)
I love the way you approach these videos, how you frame how the conversation goes with the client and how to assess their current hair situation. So inspiring!
Your hair looks so much better. I love the style and the color more for you. Thank you for teaching. I still feel shocked when you cut a long piece out. 😂
Thank you for sharing the video with your hairdresser! It means a lot to me that you think so highly of both her and my content! Please subscribe for more great hair content. It will mean the world to me❤
I have kept this style from high school to now (well tried to at least) I don’t understand how none of the hairstylists knew how i wanted my hair when i would say i wanted it feathered even with a picture!!!! Did they all miss that part of class? 😂so i started cutting my own hair with you tube tutorials when they came out! Thank God for those and now they’re even better!
I’ve asked for my hair to be cut that way for so long but I feel my hairdresser didn’t listen so I never got it done more than the one time when she did. Thank you. I have a new lady coming to do my hair and she’s actually excited to see how I would like my hair, so I’ll be showing her this.
That’s awesome. You should probably send it to her before and let her watch it a couple times and it took me years to become an expert and specialist of this haircut because it just takes a little time to like know the pattern learn how to stand learn how to hold your fingers, but I think if she watches it a few times she’ll do very well
damn, i wish you do my hair like that (i love farrah fawcett soo much, i always loved her hairstyle too, she was so pretty, i always thought people from the 70s were gorgeous, with their hair, body, skin, everything, they were like gods and goddesses in my eyes) 🥰😍💕
Just an FYI. I worked as a hair stylist in the early eighties and I remember the Farrah Fawcett haircut! The difference with the way we did hair then is perms! Body waves! If you'll notice there is always a bit of a curl in most of the hair we did it wasn't just straight hair cut into layers all over. We performed about five a day which was very lucrative that's the only difference it's a beautiful cut I love it I had it as well for many years
The layers are so beautiful! I hate my last hair cut (see photo). Should I bring a picture? Show them a link to this video? Makes me want to only go to hair stylists who are coaches too.
Wow!!! Beautiful!! Is this hair cut the one you have for your hair in this video but just blow dried differently? I love love the hair cut you have and would love to get it. Could you do a video on how to do it please???? I wish I lived close to you so you could cut my hair.
Yes, this is very similar to my haircut. I actually have on my TikTok how I cut the top of my hair and I do cut my hair exactly the same way in the Beachball pattern. And if you wanna watch the video, there’s one that’s the Jacqueline Smith haircut, it’s my beach ball pattern. I have a few videos with the beach ball pattern, I recommend this blueprint to cut your hair with
So the hairdresser came today and I showed her this. I thought she got what I wanted but now I’ve looked harder she’s given me almost the wolf cut 🤷♀️
Oh maybe you can blow dry it more like the Farr faucet Hair Cut I do have three magic blow dries it watch the full volume one, and I just want to let you know that usually even if a hairdresser watches this video might take few times to really imprint it and become really good at it
I know this is an imposition but i am quite deperate. I have shoulder length hair that i was rying to decide if i should leave grey and white...covid hair. So i was using temporary fun colors so i didn't lose my mind. They washed out nicely UNTIL I used Splat purple. I did not relize it is actually clothing dye. So I nowhave a purplehalo about three inches down that i have been unable to remove. I have tried various recipes with dandruff shampoo and Dawn dish detergent , asprin and clarifying shampoo. Many qrecipes. ...left on for multiple hours. Color oops. And I was washing my hair with 10% peroxaide every time mixed with my shampoo. My hairdresser tried to remove it with bleach and merely spread in to a pink five inch band around my head. Is there anything you can think of ? I know...but i hate to cut off all my hair. Oh, she did color it red ...no more grey. I am quite a colorful woman currently....HELP please.
Oh my goodness that is such a Hair Journey, You definitely must be a fun, one full of courage and excitement. You jump off the building and grow your wings on the way down. I love it that’s my kind of girl. Well, there’s something called erase and it takes out permanent box. There’s also processing solution from shades Q with 10 or 20 volume developer and that will remove fashion colors but you just gotta read the directions on them just so that you follow and I probably would look it up on RUclips as well just to see if anybody’s done it I mean I’ve definitely use erase and it worked great.
Farrah had longer hair on the sides and into the back, but lots of layers to avoid a disconnect. Her front fringe was about nose length, and layered throughout, with the same fingers-up finish to enhance the flip. The crown was simply blended into the back via the sides, which were pulled forward to better angle back, with a bit of the fingers up finish. She was blessed with a good amount of hair, almost a double crown, so ‘Nipping’ or shallow point cutting on just the ends to finish the cut would have only made it a little more feathery and fluffy. It wouldn’t have detracted from the basic cut or altered the shape; but more likely would have enhanced the flip and the layers. She had more than enough hair to carry off the slightly wispy ends of a nipped, shallow, 1/8”- 1/4” point cut throughout, and especially in the front and along the sides, giving lots of airy movement to an otherwise ‘heavy’, nearly blunt cut. The fingers up gives an almost beveled edge, with a shattered feathery finish. Her side length was about collarbone and got a bit longer toward the back. A beautiful cut altogether.
what you ve cut here is nothing but square layers, not exact farrah's ...instead the sides done square u could ve brought to opposit side 180 degree following the top area short guides ...you will get longer exterior which farraha's pics show ....my view
Absolutely stunning! ❤
What a beautiful haircut! As an 80s girl myself, I really appreciate you bring back these older styles! Thank you! 💕
You bet
This is the style I have asked for but never gets cut like this. I had this style in high school. LOVED it. I saved your video with the hopes of finding someone who can do this cut.
Do you get a perm with your hairstyle? I might try to get mine without a perm . It’s just seems easier to style with a perm.
Love this tutorial ❤️ Wish you had a studio here where I live.

I have done this haircut for many years but I really don’t think I could have explained it as well as you did. You are a wonderful teacher.
Thank you so much ❤
It’s the pattern, you can use curling irons or hot rollers which is what was in the 70’s
Sooooo beautiful❤❤
Thank you! Cheers!

We modernize it by how we finish it out. The shape and cut are classic and always flattering.
I always loved medium and longer layers and shaggy cuts. The Farrah is a classic.
Such a great teacher, she explains everything and makes it easy to understand.
Thank you, I appreciate your awesome feedback. ❤️

I just cut it a lot shorter right now because my hair is shorter, but I did the same pattern whether my hair is longer or shorter
So the hairdresser came today and I showed her this.

Lovely layers but I still don't think it looks like Farrah's hair
Farrah’s hair… I don’t think had any point cutting. This lady is good though.

It looks like some of the steps were not videoed
Oops! Looks like I accidentally hit the "invisible" button on those steps. I'll work on my camera skills for next time!
Feathered.. and it's just a layer cut.
