I had a red one back in 2011 loved it very underestimated cars engines are very strong and can handle big power, shame my gearbox eat itself and then shit itself all over the floor as I think I would still have it now, sounded great with the remus exhaust. Great video again really like your style of reviews. 👍

Nice bit of kit indeed, fast blast from the past. =] Hope you find the GoPro, I'd be too paranoid about dropping a camera or the mount failing. Lanyards as a failsafe could be a good shout. Done similar while doing Urbex photography years ago, using paracord as anchor lines when putting the tripod in precarious postions.
I would tie the go pro to the car so if it comes off at least you’ll hear it drag and you can stop quickly (in a case) least you won’t loose them then! Just an idea.

I had an Astra vxr mk1 and a Focus st mk2 . And the focus was so much better . That handling on the Astra is a joke and I even did the mods to get the “best possible handling “ it’s not even exciting . It’s just dog shit
Great powerful fun cars. Had the cdti 150 a map they even go really well at just over 200 heaps of torque. Turbo upgrade leaves them real quick 2. Interior and exterior of these cars are really nice choice of wheels 2. I do personally like the red ones 2 the best. But ardin blue is amazing colour 2. Don't think there the best of car reliability wise unless u build up the engine.
Not that much better when there built had two mates who had vxrs running over 450bhp and they still broke spent most the time being fixed one got sold other sat in the garage waiting to be fixed again 😂
@@andy110492 guess the only route there then is a cdti with a hybrid 🤣 gearbox is all u really have to look out for with cdti. Downgrade on the sound lol.

I'll be doing boost by gear, aim is to get power down in 2nd with this. Will be using a custom td05 twin scroll, max boost before 5k and revving to 8250
my solution to the gopro problem is to tie a shoelace inside the boot (or wherever) and then tie it to the gopro that way if it does fall off its just swinging around and not miles away in a ditch. doesnt look very professional but saves you alot of money
I have a blue Sri xp 1.8 with a hollow cat, center section straight pipe and a stock back box. It was 140bhp stock but it's now running around 150-155. The car also has a large air filter. The car handles great thanks to eibach lowering springs. Some time next month it will be fully ready for the road again and ready for trax. Would you be interested in doing a review in it before I put it up for sale?
All the hate isn't necessary I own an S3 golf GTI and and Astra all of them moded and can honestly say the Astra is most rewarding to drive on a B road rear anti roll bar changes the handling night and day on these. Nice car Gary

There's a spare thread in the head for a temp gauge. £30 and half hour work and problem solved. I fitted a boost and temp gauge in a double vent pod in less than a hour and might save the engine one day

Not a great ratio to be honest. If they were more reliable I'd buy one tomorrow.

If there are lots of them, then short vids of you chatting with pics in background. But keep your standards high and folk will keep watching!
