I was just looking at some old RC mags from the 2002-2004 era when this model and many other nitro Schumacher versions of this chassis were out, like the fusion and Menace GTR. I was reserching the upper deck material for some clarity, and one magazine says it's fiberglass mean while another says it's carbon fiber. They both look exactly the same as mine because the entire Fusion series of RC from this time were basically the same. im touching the material right now and it literally looks and feels like woven carbon fiber, not fiberglass and not graphite. Weird, we need more research. I'l show the magazines in a future video, NitroganG!!

Sick bro, I just got a nitro mad crusher recently to get back into the hobby and it's badassss 😎 nothing bad to say about it just keep some thread lock on the little cv axle nuts and if you want to add bigger wheels use wheel extensions so they fit well. Much love from Upstate NY

I looked at the earthquake's high speed needle fitting that threads into the carb and there are no o-rings or brass washers at all. Is yours the same? I'm thinking mine is bogging down because there is a vacuum leak developing under full throttle.

And yeah it should have some sort of seal or washer there. The truck is really finicky. Some days it run awesome and some days i cant keep it running. Im a noob though so i usually just assume its my lack of knowledge there. I wanted to ask you about the bolt that holds the throttle to the carb. Is that some sort of third adjustment needle. It moves just like the lsn and hsn and seems to make a weird difference in how thhe truck actually runs, but once again im a noob and have no idea.

But to be honest with you every single 3-speed transmission I have ever seen in a Schumacher was somehow locked or broken, one way or another, lol. This one is no different. hey man!! I love the road trip videos too, I am always the most excited for these, it's like an RC Xmass to me (even though my fam never did gifts, but still). The tolls are alot, but since I am a Staten Island Resident and qualify for many of the local toll discount programs through EZ-PASS, I would say they came out to be about 15 bucks at most. Otherwise just the one bridge I crossed at the beginning is normally an 18 dollar toll for others.

hey bro!! I found that scooter in the trash, that clip was from 2017. I didn't record the repair but I had to fully rebuild the motor because the brushes were crooked, so it had no contact. Unfortunately I threw this cooter out last year because the battery was trashed as you could tell it held no juice. But the scooter itself even though it was a girls model was quite cool and had good control and good brakes.
@@nomusicrc haha yes,! It seems to be that way. Those batteries wind up costing so much to replace that people just thrown them out, Planned Obsolescence at it's core you could say, right! I though to getting a lipo on it, but it wasn't that simple.
hey buddy! Yo can run the AM system as long as you don't have an significant glitching from either the receiver or servos. It's honestly best to get a modern 2.4 GHz system for the added failsafe features and just reliability. I still have some AM radios I run, and they are fine. hey bro! The claimed top speed of the Schumacher is 70, so I would say yes!! The only problem is the Schumacher has a overcomplicated trans design, so if you can get it to shift into all 3 gears I would say it would kill the jato. See if you can find a kyosho superten Fw03 or fw04 quality bit of kit, I have fw04 castrol supra body bought in 2001. I'm British and can't find none for sale here I do know there's a couple for sale in the states built but not used price is $650 used are cheaper.

If you have a steel chassis (not aluminum) it's a pre 2000's design if it's an on-road car. hey man! Thats a very broad choice you got there, both are totally diff types of RC. IT really depends on your skill level in this hobby. The Arrma Granite is either brushed or brushless, thats your first decision right there. I own a Senton 3S, awesome RC. A 1/8 nitro buggy is always terrific too, really a tough choice, comes down to what you want more and price. You gotta ask me about a specific nitro buggy. Both are good way to get into the hobby though.

Im sorry dude i love your videos and knowledge. but im gonna have to correct you and say Schumacher and other companies was still making awesome rc models way past 2005 coz they were still making the Schumacher manic a twin cylinder .36 engine truck and the onroad fusion .28 that came with a picco engine and claimed 80+mph with 3speed and few others from Schumacher right up to 2011. And other companies like thunder tiger were selling the sledge hammer s50 or would be called the mgt 8.0 to you guys with its massive heli based engine and 2 forward gears and reverse gear. And so on there were still many great models up to 2011 maybe abit later. Its only the past 5years or so maybe that companies have been making pretty un interesting models i would say.

Let me correct myself, my point was the 2000-2005 era is the golder era of nitro because most of the big sellers like the REVO, MGT, Savage, Duratrax Warhead came out at that time as direct competition. After 2005 you just have mostly variations and upgrades on those platforms. Ofcourse I'm not including the very rare nitrous in this point, only the run of the mill mass market brands like the ones I mentioned above. And btw, I have an MGT 8.0. NITRO GANG!!

Yo just a little FYI aluminum is a type of metal thought I'd point that out you don't seem to know the difference. That has an aluminum chassis not a stamped steel chassis but steel and aluminum are considered to be metals
hey buddy! The XTR series trucks have a real metal chassis, not aluminum at all. Is that what you're talking about? The newer Menace 21 has an aluminum chassis, they are both completely different.

I was just pointing out the way you made it sound in your video is that aluminum is not a real metal when aluminum is considered a real metal. Both trucks have real metal chassis just different types of metal ones made from aluminum the other ones made from steel. Hope this helps

hey man!! I love the road trip videos too, I am always the most excited for these, it's like an RC Xmass to me (even though my fam never did gifts, but still). The tolls are alot, but since I am a Staten Island Resident and qualify for many of the local toll discount programs through EZ-PASS, I would say they came out to be about 15 bucks at most. Otherwise just the one bridge I crossed at the beginning is normally an 18 dollar toll for others.

hey bro!! I found that scooter in the trash, that clip was from 2017. I didn't record the repair but I had to fully rebuild the motor because the brushes were crooked, so it had no contact. Unfortunately I threw this cooter out last year because the battery was trashed as you could tell it held no juice. But the scooter itself even though it was a girls model was quite cool and had good control and good brakes.

hey buddy! Yo can run the AM system as long as you don't have an significant glitching from either the receiver or servos. It's honestly best to get a modern 2.4 GHz system for the added failsafe features and just reliability. I still have some AM radios I run, and they are fine. hey bro! The claimed top speed of the Schumacher is 70, so I would say yes!! The only problem is the Schumacher has a overcomplicated trans design, so if you can get it to shift into all 3 gears I would say it would kill the jato. See if you can find a kyosho superten Fw03 or fw04 quality bit of kit, I have fw04 castrol supra body bought in 2001. I'm British and can't find none for sale here I do know there's a couple for sale in the states built but not used price is $650 used are cheaper.

@@hybrid32494 bought mine 2001 for £360 about $450 castrol supra body 2 speed team kyosho tuned pipe, fantastic car full geo control there's nothing you can't do with it well except off road obviously 😂. Don't believe we got the truck in England.

If you have a steel chassis (not aluminum) it's a pre 2000's design if it's an on-road car. hey man! Thats a very broad choice you got there, both are totally diff types of RC. IT really depends on your skill level in this hobby. The Arrma Granite is either brushed or brushless, thats your first decision right there. I own a Senton 3S, awesome RC. A 1/8 nitro buggy is always terrific too, really a tough choice, comes down to what you want more and price. You gotta ask me about a specific nitro buggy. Both are good way to get into the hobby though.

Im sorry dude i love your videos and knowledge. but im gonna have to correct you and say Schumacher and other companies was still making awesome rc models way past 2005 coz they were still making the Schumacher manic a twin cylinder .36 engine truck and the onroad fusion .28 that came with a picco engine and claimed 80+mph with 3speed and few others from Schumacher right up to 2011. And other companies like thunder tiger were selling the sledge hammer s50 or would be called the mgt 8.0 to you guys with its massive heli based engine and 2 forward gears and reverse gear. And so on there were still many great models up to 2011 maybe abit later. Its only the past 5years or so maybe that companies have been making pretty un interesting models i would say.

Let me correct myself, my point was the 2000-2005 era is the golder era of nitro because most of the big sellers like the REVO, MGT, Savage, Duratrax Warhead came out at that time as direct competition. After 2005 you just have mostly variations and upgrades on those platforms. Ofcourse I'm not including the very rare nitrous in this point, only the run of the mill mass market brands like the ones I mentioned above. And btw, I have an MGT 8.0. NITRO GANG!!

Yo just a little FYI aluminum is a type of metal thought I'd point that out you don't seem to know the difference. That has an aluminum chassis not a stamped steel chassis but steel and aluminum are considered to be metals
hey buddy! The XTR series trucks have a real metal chassis, not aluminum at all. Is that what you're talking about? The newer Menace 21 has an aluminum chassis, they are both completely different.
@@hybrid32494 kind of the XTR has a stamped steel chassis heavier than aluminum but tends to flex less. While the menace has an aluminum chassis. I was just pointing out the way you made it sound in your video is that aluminum is not a real metal when aluminum is considered a real metal. Both trucks have real metal chassis just different types of metal ones made from aluminum the other ones made from steel. Hope this helps
