STREET CRUISE ... bruh you keep takin me BACK with these videos 📹, I wanna say about IRVINGTON... as recently as the early 1980's if you lived in IRVINGTON you were considered the MIDDLE CLASS or at least had a few dollars. But as more and more people from Newark went there ........... 😑🤦‍♀️🤦‍♂️

It really didn't get bad until the late 90s when they tore down the projects in Newark and they had to move to Irvington. Most of the population that in 80s and early 90s that moved there were hard working families and mostly immigrant families. It was a lower middle class neighborhood then at least where I lived on the Irvington, Maplewood, Union border. I lived there from 1989-2016.
