A White farmer has appeared in court charged with attempted murder after a six-year-old Black boy was run over.
The 70-year-old man, named locally as Christoffel Stoman from Lutzville, is accused of running down the child who had allegedly stolen oranges from trees.
The six-year-old suffered two broken legs after being run over by a truck.
Rural and Farmworkers Development Organisation spokesperson Billy Claasen told local media that the child was walking with his mother, who was not injured, when the incident occurred.
Claasen told the Daily Voice: "The farmer drove over the child. It is claimed that he saw the child and his mother next to the road near his farm and then drove over the child.
“The child and his mother were taken to Vredendal Hospital and has been transferred to Paarl Hospital. It is confirmed that both legs of the child are broken.”

Yeah but the news doesn't say anything about how many white farmers have been tortured and murdered by blacks. This is what it looks like when the kettle boils over, for that child it was an orange, for that farmer it could've been the last straw after years of theft, criminal damage, fighting off farm attacks and attending funerals of farmers who were not so lucky. People who don't live there will never understand. And just FYI, just because it was a child, doesn't mean that child isn't a hardened criminal. In Africa because of the economic crisis they start young.
Meanwhile in the civilised mind, running over a child for the alleged theft of an orange is regarded as evil.
I don't think you have children cause at 6 years they don't know any better or understand what's stealing they still learning not even in grade 1 yet VS your grandfather thats acting blind now why was he driving I don't believe his wife was even there and out of no where appears his Brother in law a retired police officer... yeah justify the actions cause it's an old white man and it's a black kid crime has no color apparteid ended you can't be driving over people for stealing an orange call the police

Why is it necessary to mention the criminal’s skin colour as white farmer so badly? A child just got attacked today by a black man and there was no headlines on “black man attacks child with acid”, specifically mentioning their skin colour. Isn’t that just a colour? Why are people focusing more on their skin colours rather than factual events and character?? If this is how is going to be, then woke people PLEASE don’t complain when other skin colours are mentioned as well as headlines to criminal events.
