Bombastic LEGO Star Wars tcs
Star Wars battlefront 2 2005
Still my favorite battlefront game
Bombastic Star Wars battlefront the very first one.
Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga was my first Star Wars game. I remember failing over and over in the Mustafar level lol
Yeah lol memories
DUUUUUDE SAME
I played this game before I even watched Star Wars so that was my intro to the story 😂
General_PiggyFace same👍
Same
That frame rate is so smooth!
Hey Andrew! I'm really enjoying your videos lately! Keep the good work up!
Hope I'll see you again at an EA event in the future!
Greetings from Austria! :D

7:30 My mind’s telling me NO.
But MAH BODY, MYYY BODYYYY IS TELLING ME YEEEES!
This Game was so nice, a new Version would be a Dream.
Before becoming a racer, Ebe Endocott worked as a mailman
Aldar Beedo actually worked as an assassin and was hired by fellow racer Wan Sandage to kill Sebulba.
Elan Mak entered the Boonta Eve Classic to kill Aldar Beedo for killing his father.
Ratts Tyerell was the only fatality of the Boonta Eve Classic.
Why would it slide on ice if it's hovering?
0\10 - Unplayable.
because it's secretly running on wheels that are just invisible
chill man, it is just a small cool feature
@@darthmop1 it's clearly sarcasm bro xD
There actually is an answer for this the pod racers use repulsors to hover just above the ground by repelling themselves from the metals in the ground sometimes a set of rails underneath the track to improve “traction” but over a deep frozen lake you don’t get the “stick” that solid ground would give you.
So it kinda makes sense if magnetic flying chariot races make any to begin with.
So many memories! Bought my copy from a used book/entertainment store when I was in elementary school. Mine was glitched to where I couldn't complete one of the tracks, it always froze at a cave entrance. Never finished the series
Thanks for the refresh, I'll have to snatch it up again
I just finished playing this on steam yesterday. I still feel to this day that episode 1: racer is way better than racers revenge. It feels more like a racing game. The tracks are better, the camera is panned further away so you can just concentrate on the track and unlike the sequel, there are no constant demolition derby elements that just ruined the game for me.
I used to get SO PUMPED to play the arcade version of this game! I loved how they had the same steering mechanism as Anakin's actual pod racer! Loved it! Talk about nostalgia lol.
this game is like a cool version of f-zero.
im definitely getting this on switch.
BTw, on switch, it has motion controls
@Jonathon Bangerter F-zero was already better then Mario Kart, most real racing games are.
Dont do it. Graphics are not even remastered. You can get it for a dollar at used game stores.
3:21 It's probably been explained multiple times already further down in the comments, but the difference between the parts store and junkyard is that the parts bought from the store are brand new and cost more, while parts from the junkyard are cheaper but come in various states of reduced condition and need repairs.
I used to RENT this game and Rogue Squadron for the N64 at the local game store. The amount of hours I spent trying to beat the final circuit... Those were the days!
Junkyard parts have less durability and need to be repaired by the pit droids, if you look at the parts they all have health bars. Parts bought for full price from the store directly have Max hp while discounted parts from the junkyard are cheaper but are damaged. This isnt much of an issue if you have pit droids to repair your parts between races, so as long as you are good at not blowing up your racer you should be fine as the parts dont have less max hp they just go into your inventory already damaged.
Hey,bombastic there was this glitch on battlefront yesterday,it reset my money and progress for maul, but came back
I had the same glitch
Don’t play as maul anymore
Rip van winkle you alive?
Nighzmare Always Alive
That tune of Watto at the end of every race has been stuck in my head for over 20 years now x'd (and counting)
Bought it on a sale last year and i was super impressed by how well it held up. Usually when i play a super old game i remember fondly, i still enjoy them ofc, but can notice very well the setbacks of it, but this one, man it aged pretty well honestly. My only complaint after i finished it on Steam was that it wasn't longer lol i think i finished it in about 4-5 hours (i'm still playing it ofc, trying to establish and beat some records c: This game would be BOMB if they remade it well
Bro this game was rocking in the original arcade machine of the plaza shop such nostalgia in it...
The junkyard is where you can buy damaged parts for a cheaper price. You have to race in order to fix it. The Buy Parts is where you go and buy new parts that aren't damaged
The tracks were honestly the best thing about this game, they all had a great unique feel to them that to my 11 year old self inspired wonderment.
I could never figure out how to jump over that giant dragonfly as a kid
I love this game whole heartedly. It is the first game I ever really played to complete, the first game I ever grinded. I played it on the Nintendo 64 and it made up a giant chunk of my childhood. The surprising thing is I never realized how good I was at it until I watched other people play it. I had such a knowledge of all the maps that I knew them like that back of my hand, and always won the race no matter what. I'm still in disbelief cause at the time I was only 4! This always has been and always will be my favorite star wars game and I am so happy its on PS4 for me to experience again.
The upgrades have health/durability that goes down if you crash etc and gets repaired by your pit droids. The more droids you have the more gets repaired after a race. The items from the junkyard are cheaper because they already have damage on them that needs to be repaired. Btw repairs only happen after you finished a race.
lego Star Wars the complete saga can't call yourself a Star Wars gamer until you play it
The first Star Wars game I played was Star Wars: Force Unleashed, which is absolutely my all-time favorite, but the game that really got me into Star Wars was Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga
Shadow of the empire on N64. classic game.
I think Oovo IV was later featured in SW: Bounty Hunter. I believe it’s the prison in an asteroid, one of the most difficult sections in the game and where Jango gets the Slave 1.
It was so weird playing the rerelease because the N64 version I grew up on didnt have most of the voice acting/cutscenes
I played the ps2 sequel, it was so cool and such a part of my childhood, still gutted that to this day there hasn't been a proper stable pc release for either of them
Oh my God, I have a PS4 just for WipEout, now it's gonna be for WipEout and Star Wars Episode 1 Racer.
Oh dear, I must confess my first star wars game was... Droidworks!
Oovo IV is where Jango Fett acquired the Slave I in Star Wars Bounty Hunter.
The N64 version of this game was definitely the first star wars game I ever played, and one of the first games I ever played in general.
There is also Star Wars Racer Revenge which originally came out on PS2 and has been available on PS4 for 6 years. It's a very similar game to this.
Anybody ever play this at the arcade actually sitting in Anakins pod!!! The arcade near me had it and man I must have wasted tonssss of money playing it over my young years!
You bastarrrrdddd :P I had one here too but never could convince mum to pay for it xD
Hope ya enjoyed!
I only owned an N64 when I was a kid, and I really wanted to try Playstation 2's Star Wars Racer 2 that came out, but I didn't own a PS2 at the time :( so I never got to experience it.
But then it was also made available on PS4, and that was my first time playing it... and honestly, I still prefer the first one lol
This takes me back... glad you finally got to play it without the issues
1999 the year Andrew didn't knew google was a thing
Yes, he didn’t knew (JK I’m not a GRAMMER cop. It was just too funny)
Clegg Holdfast is my new favorite character
I love playing this on the n64
I never played this one but i played a lot of Star Wars Racer Revenge on my PS4 when it came with the Star Wars Battlefront bundle
Hey Bombastic great vid!
i played it on the n64. this game destroys the sticks on your joystick because of the turbo.while accelerating you have to try to hold still the stick and when the bar goes black you push the stick forward and hold it while trying to drive
I played this on the N64, so seeing these cut scenes is just bizarre for me.
The first Star Wars game I played was the one that came packaged with my N64. Yep, Star Wars Episode 1 Racer. Played a TON of this game. Never managed to beat Abyss. Ebe Endocott was my racer of choice. Bullseye Navior was my brother's, Neva Kee was my sister's, and Dud Bolt was my mom's.
The junkyard lets you buy broken parts that don't work as well, for lower cost. There's... ostensibly a way to repair those parts, but I don't understand how it works. (Does anyone know? I still have the N64 hooked up, so.. it could be handy.)
Forced unleashed 1 was the first star wars game I played which is surprising
I was scared away from star wars games till Kotor and I even played that like 3 years after it released. Cause my first star wars game was the unbeatable NES original star wars. That game beat me to a bloody pulp and spit me back out I still have gaming PTSD to this day.😢 Just to you don't doubt my gaming skills I beat the original NES Mario brothers with no save. Don't think you could save back then lol.
my first was SW Demolition, a real charmer
This brings back so many good memories
Oovo IV was also in Star Wars: Bounty hunter for PS2
Oh this is wonderful news!!!! I have only played the game twice on a former friend's N64 and I enjoyed myself so much on those moments. Now i get to have a copy for myself and play the full experience. The Wipeout series personally for me is the other game that fits this niche for me
Love your vids bombastic
I think Star Wars Racer Revenge is like this but better
I remember having a heavy duty force feedback joystick to play this. The force feedback was so impressive.
the racer goin speed
My first Star Wars game was Lego Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy.
My first was either Revenge of the Sith for GBA or Jedi Power Battles for PS1
This one was also the first Star Wars Game I ever played but it worked properly.
I ran into the same saving glitch on LGEO Racer ironically
My first game was LEGO clone wars on ds. I got this game and a few others with my PS4
My first ever Star Wars game was the Revenge of the Sith movie game or the PS2/Wii version of Force Unleashed.
Really wish they released star wars dark forces 1 and 2 on the ps4 those were my first star wars games I have ever play and up to this day I still miss playing it
My first Star Wars game that I played was the Original Star Wars Battlefront 1
Imagine if Anakin went pro in Pod Racing, rather than becoming a Jedi haha 😂
They should have just waited until the PS5 come down and called it a next-gen game
Yes finally a game where you can play as Ben Quadrananos
I played this game on my nintendo 64 when it came out... my first star wars game was super star wars on the super nintendo
I think Squadrons should do a first person pod racing game
A veteran to this game only buys from the junkyard. The worse the condition the part the cheaper the price. Upgrading is it's own game within this game.
First thing to do, buy 4 pit droids. They will keep your aftermarket parts in good condition. If you only upgrade 4 stats they will always remain in good condition. You buy a cheap terrible condition part, race once the droids will fix it and it's in perfect condition. You then sell it back to wato in exchange for another terrible condition part and make loads of money. If the junkyard doesn't have the part you want to back to the rider select screen then back to the junkyard and it will have new listings. By the time I finished every race I have earned over 300,000 truguts. It's fun to see how much money you can make.
Since you can only upgrade 4 stats the best ones for racing are speed, acceleration, turning and then I'll alternate between repair and cooling depending on the track. Everything else is pointless.
This was the first star wars game i played. And it was on the n64. I still own both the cartridge and system. And they both still work. I guess its time to play it again. I love racing games.
My first Star Wars game was the first ever LEGO Star Wars where I thought young obi wan was Luke, tho I believe that Star Wars racer was the second Star Wars game I ever played, last year I actually got the old Nintendo 64 and played it but stopped because my eyes started hurting
I have played this before and the first time I played it is at a dentist in Puerto Rico which had a N64 with that and Super Mario 64. And I actually own this on PC.
LEGO Star Wars the complete saga was my first
My first star wars game was Lego star wars the complete Saga on Wii
Same, me and my brother spent hours playing it
Still playing this on my N64!
Star Wars race is in the best sellers of this week on switch
My first Star Wars Game was LEGO Star Wars The Clone Wars as a lot of people have played this as well I assume
Can you do a series of this because this just looks amazing just like you said 😂👍
The first game I played was LEGO Star Wars TCS
My first SW game was Lego Star Wars TCS on a DS emulator; before it i used to play some lego TCW browser games but i don't think they really count; it played smoothly and i managed to get every character (even the Gonk Droid), but sadly my save file was lost through the years.
I would play this on Nintendo 64 after school back in the day
Niva Key was my main racer. He has the only pod racer without cables and maaaaan it felt like cheating once you upgrade him. I got every achievable Blue Ribbon with him so check him out.
The first Star Wars game ever was Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga for Nintendo Wii
Now I kinda wish it was Xbox one. 😢 Maybe we should ask (cash cash) EA to port it over to the Xbox.
No that is why Xbox box sucks and Ps4 rules
@@alejandroinc9575 Oh, don't start another console war debate. Unless you want me to bring up how you can play both Red Dead Redemption games back to back only on Xbox One.
@Alejandro Inc: I wish I could post an image on comments, because I would post an Anakin “liars” photo.
I feel like they're both great, and really when your gonna buy one, get what your friends have, as then you can play with them, one thing the PS4 does good are the controllers.
Both are great consoles though.
@@commanderbly891 I've got them all: Xbox One, PS4, and Switch.
THIS WAS MY FIRST SW GAME TOO
This is still my favorite game, I beat the whole thing but my old mac computer won’t work anymore. I’m so psyched to get it again!
I had it on N64. It was great and I could save.
I remember playing Star Wars bounty hunter. Now that game was the best and I hope they make a another bounty hunter game buts it’s about boba fett
Just recently played that game it was actually suprisingly good, I would love to see a high graphics version!
imagine them rebooting this after squadrons to also support full vr. Imagine sim pod racing lmao your fucking engine disconnects from the cabin and you gotta pick up your little magnet wrench and reconnect mid 600 mph race on a right turn lmao now THAT would be pod racing
The first Star Wars game I ever played was Star Wars battlefront on the original xbox
Now, I hope that they remaster Republic Commando!
I played the complete saga and I never even knew star wars was lol
They should make podracer VR.
3:24 Answer is: If you "buy parts" at a shop, they are expensive but they are the *BEST* upgrades! The "junkyard" parts are cheaper but these are NOT the best quality parts!
Just played through the game on Steam recently, Actually for the first time, because in 1999, my computer couldn't handle the game at all...like, CTD in the main menu.
So instead I have played Racer Revenge on the PS2 a couple of years later. Yet it never occured to me to install Racer on my most recent computer back then
I had anni's pod racing helmet and would wear it while playing this game as a kid
Never heard of this game before, but looking at it and all it's PS1 jankiness, i'll certainly give it a go. Not only was Bounty Hunter my first Star Wars game, it was my first exposure to Star Wars, period. Jango > Boba any day.
I want Star Wars Episode III game on PS4, so i can play with my friends in duel mode.
Sw battlefront 2015 was the first fps I ever played and I loved it
