Thank you for sharing,I observe that your UB to he WAIST has much gap than mine .. can you pls explain which of the waist length you used..

GOODMORNING, that’s just my measure, to get ur measurements is to place , ur tape from ur shoulder to burst, then shoulder to underbust , shoulder to waistline, maybe you should check out this video

There are several method of drafting a corset, if your using a burst dart,you have to measure your front length and your back Length then minus , what ever you have, you can use as your burst dart, or you can use a basic corset method ,which is what I used for this tutorial, (I normally use this cus most of subscriber understand this better)

Thank you for this well detailed tutorial. Please I have a few questions, I noticed that you used the same waist length for both the front and back, what effect will this have for persons with difference in waist lengths e.g 17 & 15.5 inches?
Also, you didn't replace the 2 inches upper bust tightening, will it not cause shortage in the lower part when attaching to the yoke?

Good evening ma, the reason I used the same waist length for both my front and back, is that I didn’t use a burst dart infront, or maybe the way to take your measurements is different from mine ( I don’t think it has any effect on the waist)once your measurement is accurate, for the upper part , I didn’t add back the 2 inches dart I took, but if you notice , I measured the dart intake I have at the chest or burst line and I marked it back, ( so the reason I don’t really mark that 2 inches dart , is to avoid the chest line or arm hole to be bulky, while joining my dress,but I will be doing that in my next tutorial , to avoid confusing people.
