Hi Marla, congratulations on the engagement! I see you are a Latter Day Saint member. I am just curious, are you “allowed” to kiss before the wedding and be on birth control? I may be confusing this practice for another denomination. Thank you for educating me. ❤
I'm not LDS, but I think with abstinence they just mean no sexual intercourse before marriage, so kissing would be allowed. Marla has also posted some videos of her and Brock kissing so I think that's okay! Maybe the LDS church find kissing while casually dating someone sinfull but I don't know enough about the church to give a clear answer to that. For the birth control, even tho a lot of churches discourage the use of birth control, most don't condemn it or find it to be sinfull.

Yeah it’s interesting she’s talking about it because I feel like most Mormons want to get pregnant immediately after getting married
Besides the fact that most churches discourage the use of birth control, most don't condemn it or find it sinfull.
They don’t really talk about birth control (I grew up Mormon) and I have friends who work for the church and their insurance excludes birth control. The culture has changed and with the internet, women have become more informed so a lot use BC, but big families have always been encouraged in the church. In short, it’s not against the religion, but it’s not encouraged either.

Wait I’m so worried about the birth control! This can really mess up your cycle, hormones and fertility before you have kids.
Also who you are attracted to and how much you enjoy secs etc. I would recommend natural family planning instead. It’s extremely affective to know your fertile window, what days you can get pregnant and not. Getting more in sync and comfortable with your cycle and body before secs. They have devices you can wear to bed if you want more tracking help. I just feel like as you go into having secs for the the first time I would Hate for your experience to be different bc of birth control. Less desire etc and have to deal with the laundry list of symptoms
