100% but in all fairness have a Ph.D. in musicology and I'm a concert pianist. Glad to see the Poulenc C#m on the quiz... a fav.

14/30. I knew so many and could even often continue the melody, but the composer eluded me under the time pressure.

I knew them all, and know many of them by heart from beginning to end, because my mother is a concert pianist, lol! Not that she played all those concertos, but many of them, and the one's that she did not play and perform, I listened to recordings of them, always wanting to know more! A lifetime is not enough to get to know all of classical music, and then, there are wonderful piano concertos that are seldom played, which is a shame, such as Rachmaninoff's 4th piano concerto (there is a fantastic recording of this concerto by Vladimir Ashkenazy with Previn conducting), or Bernstein's Age of Anxiety, Roger Sessions Piano Concerto, Khachaturian's, Samuel Barber's, which is such a great concerto, and it is sadly hardly ever played, and many others!

Small mistake, the extract from the 5th Concerto by Saint-Saëns is from the 2nd movement (you indicate the first movement). Nice selection of works :)

There are few from this list that should be on the “easy” list (like the Schumann), and some from the wash list that should be here

31/30…I took an extra point for finding the Saint-Saens mistake about the “SECOND” movement. 😅

23/30 although I know all those concertos. I should have been able to guess more. But I have way too many pieces of music in my collection for my memory and 10 seconds is not very long. I completely missed the Scriabin and the Moszkowski, I did not remember if the Egyptian was the 4th or 5th one, argh ...

Nice selection, glad to see Poulenc's Plonk! Gottem all instantly except....Moskitovosky, maybe because this is not the Moszszkovsky that i kno....? And Kissin in the S-S 5??? I don't think so! Good fun and mostly well plo choices (Zimerman, Thibaudet...)but not Triff thank you.

20, Kept mixing up Grieg and Schumann haha. Also mixed up Prokofiev's No. 2 in G-Minor with the third one in C-Major. Then I just completely forgot Mendelssohn's and Saint-Sean's

Got zero correct. I've only listened to the same 5 piano concertos, none of which were present in this video, so my score makes sense, I suppose.
