This was extremely helpful! I ended up copying everyone of your settings. Before this my prints were getting worse with every pice of advice I followed. Now I'm printing at temp above what the filament maker allows, and it's the only way to get good results! I'm on a deadline on my school report here. I need my grades! You really helped me out!
I hated PETG until I found out that reducing the speed was my solution. I am using a Bambu Lab X1C, and Bambu Lab PETG Basic, with Bambu default settings for this exact material, but I got crappy results with the full speed. Reducing speed to like max 100 mm/s, or slightly above, gave good results. Those 250+ mm/s was not at all usable.. Maybe the new Bambu Lab PETG HF can print at those high speeds, I did not try this yet.
I main print with petg and I use P1S too. the generic perg and bambu petg default setting is all I use.sometimes i bump just the bed temp to 75 from 70 defaulr if using smooth bedplate

Yea it’s a mater of either reducing speed or raising temp to melt it faster and extrude out faster.
I just got a P1s, and I’ve been intimidated by petg. I’m going to try your settings for a baseline
It is a tricky one. Let me know how it goes I’d love to keep these settings videos up to date as I know it helps people getting started

@@mipfer what brand of petg do you use? It varies from brand to brand
@@OmegaSolutions polylite, esun, sunlu and sometimes kingroon. But they just works with the defaulf profile.
One month latet....And so?😅
