My mum would make kienyeji chicken, chapos, stew ya minji and rice and come all the way from Nyahururu to Limuru by matatu. I don't know how na vile public transport ukiwa na mizigo is chaotic🙆♀️🙆♀️ And then mum died ikabidi dad aanze kuja visiting. Wacha tu niseme wueh!!!!! Thank God my aunts stepped in
For some reason, our class was categorized as being full of "visionary, disciplined, and focused" students. Our class was isolated-ish from the other the classes. And the teachers weren't too strict on us. They trusted us to an extent. More interestingly, our class was located near the fence and along the road leading to the school's gate. I mean, anyone visiting the school would pass by our class first before getting to the school gate. Lucky for us, our parents would cautiously sneak food and snacks to us through the fence before reporting to the school gate. The locals would, too. School life was good. Tulijitawala kweli kweli. We had our own kasmall bell and a time keeper because hatungesikia school bell. Last last, a new classroom was constructed and they moved us closer to the other classes.

My dad used to come with only a Newspaper on visiting day. 😅😅😅 my Mum was the opposite, she brought all the delicacy 😋😋
My high school days aren't my best memory..I used to stare at the gate almost all day_no visitor! Midterm? Icio ni ng'ano..never had fare
I used to ask for ugali sukuma and omena during visiting. I had almost 10 to 15 people visiting. I miss those days
We used to sing "one more night" one day before closing day😅
