How would a fight between an armored warrior and an unarmored swordsman go? That was the subject of our short film.

Díky moc, strašně si toho vážíme a ceníme. Jj, na chyby už nás upozorňovali kamarádi co tyhle projekty dělají na mnohem vyšší úrovni. Ale jste psal je to praxí.
Máme nějaké další mini filmečky už vymyšlený,tak se snad k ním postupně prokoušeme.

Amazing fight choreography. But I'm a tiny bit confused by the premise of the story. Is the unarmored swordsman meant to be a condemned criminal or something?
First of all, we want to thank you for your comment. The story has no depth. It is our film debut. Otherwise, it's more of a buffoon with armor who lets others pull him to boost his ego that he's the best.
I saw that. Definitely came across as unfinished, and I presumed intentionally so due to limitations in resources. And definitely wanted the rest of the story too.
The unfairness and arrogance provokes a response and demands satisfaction.

Hello, guys! Really appreciate your work! Good luck in the future! I have a question regarding the film name and the way the word "meat grinder" is written. Why is it written in two words in the video description, whereas it's written as one in the video? And why Meat starts with a capital letter?
Hello, first we want to thank you. And to your question. The name came about by chance when we were planning this project and it just stuck. And as for the space in the title and no space on the images, we must have made a mistake somewhere.

Have you noticed in all the sword fighting scenes that nobody stabs for the legs first? Faint stab for the face, stab the upper thigh! Then just stay away and watch them bleed out!

Nice video but shouldn't the unarmoured guy target the armored guy's legs cause that's where he could kill him... his legs and groin... ? What's with all this sensless striking at the armor or upper body ? He had a gambeson, plate armor and a helmet... I would have tried to do a combination where I make 2 cuts to the upper body then cut to the legs ( so I don't start with the legs right away so he cannot tell it and chop my head off in a riposte ) or stab to the groin and grab the armored bufon's longsword in the meantime if I can or faint high and cut / stab low...
Also he was completely safe when the armored guy fell he should have gained the moment and cut one of his legs off ( in this clip's scenario I mean ) he had no protection to his legs so with the right edge alignment and leveredge it would hane been possible... instead he tries to stab through the visor or whatever witch of course isn't gonna be easy without a dagger even without the henchmen grabbing him from the back... anyways thar's just my 2 cents on it 🙂

I like it. It's well done. The only flaw is the placing of the hands on the "sharp" portion of the blade, showing that it's obviously not sharp, when later the blade is shown to be sharp. I like the music. I like the premise and how you're allowed to fill in your own ideas of what this must be about.

it can be done with a naked hand on sharp blades as well

Very interesting display of arms, but I agree with the gentleman below the challenger should have gone after the servant who put the noose around his neck. And why is the victor well rested and wearing a suit of armor while the challenger is being dragged in exhausted, doesn't seem like a very fair fight to me. Other than that well done everyone.
