British Airways Club World - Gatwick to Antigua trip report

- Flying to Antigua on BA2157 in business class, I take a look at what it's like.
We flew from London Gatwick (LGW) to Antigua VC Bird international (ANU) in Club World on British Airways Boeing 777-200ER G-VIIV, a very comfortable flight using Avios to pay for it. They are pretty secluded and comfortable when you're in there, just let down by having nowhere to put anything. Thanks for the sub! :)

Excellent footage, I have yet to travel on the triple, done 6 787 so far but the 777 has eluded me, you had your first beer over my house just after Exeter! Subscribed...
And a very nice beer it was too - until they ran out of it that is! 787 is much quieter to fly on.

Bet that felt good - to know you got away before it all went to sh*t! Good insight to Club World, thanks. Have experienced VA Upper Class a few times and now saving Avios for BA flights. Can see me using Club World soon in the future; once normality returns.
It did, everything else for the year was cancelled - had a trip booked in Club Suite for next month, but that's also gone. One day, we'll be back in the air!

Awesome viewing love it did t knew BA going back to its route , one thing I couldn’t afford business club class thou. I wonder how long is the flight ? When BA keep using Gatwick as there Caribbean route?
Thanks Ricardo, Business class was paid for with Avios - it becomes affordable if you can generate enough of them. The flight is around 8-9 hours, and BA have been running Caribbean flights from Gatwick for years - not too many from Heathrow.

They are not condiments in the Toilet........they are hand lotions etc.....

I believe all the Gatwick 777 fleet had a refurb 2-3 years ago, but no club suite on them, all old CW

Hi, glad you enjoyed it! As for the 747 reg, I'm not sure how far back flightradar24 goes, but you'd need a subscription to go back. Which month did you visit Antigua Tony? We have an Amex companion voucher trip booked in November, but are thinking of cancelling it because we found Mexico too humid in September…
I see you spotted it was January, November is the end of the wet/rainy season, so if it's later in the month, it shouldn't be as humid. Mine was via an amex voucher as well!
