Wellington diving is AMAZING! - The 5th week on the road...

  • It had been a fantastic couple of weeks in Taupo and Wanganui doing creating space things but after that long out of the ocean my gills were definitely feeling way too dry so when I rolled into Wellington and there was a little window of calm on the south coast I headed there and got set up for a morning dive.
Getting in the water after a stunning sunrise I was greeted by amazing visibility and abundant paua, kina and crayfish. The bag was soon getting filled and by the end of the dive I was struggling to fit any more into it...
Back at Heck and Jay's place I process the kina, paua and crayfish and we have an amazing dinner of paua schnitzel, crayfish, kina, chips ans salad!
MASSIVE thanks to Nicole Grey, the crew at Te Whare Mauri and Heck and Jay for their beautiful hospitality hosting us - I am most GRATEFUL!!!
