So when I was younger (around 8) my mom managed a homeless shelter (made meals, managed who was accepted and such) and she had an “apartment” more like a small house area in the ground floor area. It was a very old building with a basement (3 bedrooms and a living area with a kitchen) ground floor (my moms place as well as a full kitchen for everyone) and an upstairs (another 3 bedrooms and living area) that place was haunted beyond haunted. Me and my older sister were terrified of the upstairs, my mom and step dad were terrified of the upstairs, my baby brother also terrified of the upstairs at 1 year old. We had a cat who would just stand at the bottom of the stairs and hiss toward the upstairs for HOURS. Smoke alarms would go off randomly stuff would fall we would see shadow figures the place was TERRIFYING. It’s in Burlington, Iowa which if you look up has a lot of paranormal activity in various areas. Even just driving past the place gives me chills. Would even hear voices when we were upstairs when there was no one living up there.
@@Sponch0s wow, that sounds wild. Did you every try to communicate with anything in there? I've heard that animals are especially good at picking up on spirits and such
@ there was one time that my mom told me about right after my grandmother passed away where my step dad had left for work hours before and she heard the front door open and close, walked out, nothing and no one there. She said bit after that she was doing dishes and a glass fell off of the table in the kitchen and she asked out loud “ is someone there?” Then the fire alarm went off she said “mom is that you?” The fire alarm stopped going off… weiiiiird stuff. I don’t by any means think it was my grandma more so a spirit with less than good intentions trying to communicate. The only reason I think the spirit may have had bad intentions is because of the amount of broken things and the feeling in that house that I can’t even begin to describe like uncomfortable and sickly. There was also a play room upstairs where me and my siblings would play, there were many times my mom would come up panicking and say to come down stairs immediately but she never explained that?
