Om Purnam Adah Purnam Idam
Purnat Purnam Udachyate
Purnasya Purnam Adaya
Purnam Eva Vashishyate
Translation:
"That is complete, this is complete. From completeness emerges completeness. When completeness is taken from completeness, completeness still remains."
In this day and age and with our obsession with comparison on social media, this lesson can be hard for people to grasp and to take on board. The main take aways are to recognise our inherent completeness and sufficiency. We are whole just the way we are. Don’t forget to affirm your own completeness and practice self- compassion daily, acknowledging that you are enough. Reflect on the interconnectedness of all things, and know that each part of our life is complete in itself, yet can be seen as a part of a larger whole.
