The way you close the video is so spot on for how it feels when you dig around this stuff. Like "damn I really should not be here" lmao. It's pretty crazy that stuff like that is just hosted out there, password dumps and accounts from db leaks are one thing but god damn. It makes me wonder if some of those proctoring services that schools are using (where you have to send a picture of your driver's license) store that stuff in some fashion and have been owned.
@Joseph Oates Honorlock? That's the one they make us use. They just got btfo in a federal court case ruling in the US that doing the room scan is unconstitutional which owns but is also not something I have the patience to try and fight 💀
Hey John, I think your content in amazing and raises awareness on some things people don't know about yet, and our lives will be increasingly affected by them as they become relevant and they come into the spotlight on mainstream channels like youtube. You have my respect for putting such content out there ! It's stuff I haven't ever seen on such an easily accessible level and I am sure none of us has. I have a difficult question for you though...Aren't you afraid showing this kind of info will bring you trouble or even worse, do you harm? Some of it is so dangerous and powerful, that if fallen on wrong hands, can disrupt some dangerous people's affairs, even on a government level. The simple fact you're showing it to the "masses" increases their target audience. I am sure you know darker use cases for all these tools, but is there a limit you've set on this ? How do you feel about it ? Please don't get me wrong, but I am a bit worried for your safety and I don't want to see some Aaron Schwarz like twist to this, because you're amazing ! All the best ! s
Great video, super interesting as always. We love how you don't sensationalise this stuff, but also that when you when you find stuff this crazy, you react that a normal human being and feel creeped out by it. Keep up the great work mate!!
Just a reminder. It took me like 15 sec to find the website at 9:39. You better blur the whole picture insteed of just the name of the url/company name for safety reasons. Otherwise keep up the good work.
One thing on these browsing videos that stood out to me more than anything else is, why the hell do all these sites use outdated, practically useless captcha? Like bots can read text better than we can and I'd think someone who bothers to use the "dark web" would know this
Thank you for making these videos, but yeah, that one kind of creeps me out. But I did have a quick question though. When you're blurring everything out in post, what do you use to blur that?
So….if someone were to go on the site and stumble upon their employer’s information, and potentially some of their own PII, is there anything that can be done or is it just out there? This is insane. This is PII, financial information, potential disciplinary information, etc that is basically just out there indefinitely. This is literally insane. Think if your HR lady that has access to a majority of your PII or high permissions within the company database system, accidentally clicks something within a phishing email and now YOU, a lowly plebe of the company, have your PII out on the web and you don’t even know it. My mind is literally BLOWN right now. I’ve known this happens but didn’t realize just how easily accessible this type of information really could be.
My old boss stored new hire/raise info in a USB, w/o a password, and he would leave it plugged into the front desk computer for weeks at a time. It had all of our personal info and photocopies of Driver's Licenses/SSN cards. I worked at a Hilton, anyone could have snuck behind the desk and taken the USB in under 20 secs. So yeah, it makes sense to me that type of stuff would be free on the Dark Web.
There where severla cases recently that governements around world got attacked with ransomware. Costa Rica and Montenegro. You should take a look at those cases it could be interesting to examine danamge they did.
Lol at how awkward things are by the end. I can understand, you run into these cyber/security "situations" where your brain/worldview just gets smacked up.
master what is your eye icon on your top of your phone? on your other episode video. i watching your content when im stress. your video is stress relief sometimes for me. i home you can do episode that what best application that we can use to prevent for hackers or virus. I'm using vpn and anti virus what is you think? thankyou and advance i hope you can help us to protect our personal life. thankyou so much. :)
What would happen if someone tries to let these companies know that their data are on dark web for free? Is there is trouble one could get into for warning them?
This is the type of video that CEO's & CISO's need to see. Great job John!
Absoloutely agree, we need more of this because this is what people UNDERSTAND when they click
Probably his reaction is exactly what a company C-Suite would feel, or show what they should be feeling.
PLEASE DO MORE OF THESE MAN. I love this series.
Great lesson here. This video will make people understand the effects of data leak.
Keep it up John.

Yep, never give your ID or social security number to anyone online. Even proctors or digital resumes.
@Joseph Oates Honorlock? That's the one they make us use. They just got btfo in a federal court case ruling in the US that doing the room scan is unconstitutional which owns but is also not something I have the patience to try and fight 💀
@Joseph Oates That’s insane...
Your reaction said everything. It's wild what is out there, thanks for allowing us a glimpse into that world.
Nice job John! 👏👏 Great content man.
Anyone using a phone or computer should be following this channel. We love you John
I cant follow then, i watch on my toaster with wifi...
Awesome and very informative content John. I agree with the comment made below by James A, C-levels definitely need to see this type of content.
All the blurred out stuff makes the video just more interesting to watch. It adds some mystery to it :D

Bro it's not that big a deal. Just 1 of millions breached, not like some big secret lmao.
@@h4gg497 exactly, plus you can just navigate to the onion site and get to those businesses anyway.
This is why cyber security is IMPORTANT !!!!!!!!!!
Cheers Mate. That was scary.
Dark web is a dark place that keeps getting darker. Thanks for sharing

Hearing that "wtf dude... Holy sh...." Loved that real moment from you lol
i am waiting to leak pegasus 😶
Don't worry, they'll text you a copy to your phone when they target you
@@raiden72 Nice 🤣
@@ALee-2DAnimator I know right? Sad, we are all fish in a barrel... And none of us "fish" care about the security of our cell phones and information.
If they that much for it, why would anyone want to leak it

Amazing video, this shows the very real and very personal effects these data breaches have
Keep us updated on the ticket you've posted there. :D
1337 on the shirt made me laugh.
Funny little easter egg on that shirt
I thoroughly enjoyed the information that this provides and enjoy this series as it shows how scary things can be
Love the high score :) Hi M1
Appreciate your lack of intro, and your long term commitment of "getting to the point".
That "candidate testing" & "masonry institute" folders though 😂😂😂😂😂
Thank you for making these videos, but yeah, that one kind of creeps me out. But I did have a quick question though. When you're blurring everything out in post, what do you use to blur that?
i think youtube studio has a blur tool
Oh boy👀! Thanks John.

Yea Darkweb is dark place on internet
People are in a state of willful denial, and governments want to do the same thing as these guys are doing so they don't do shit about it.
Well thanks for this analysis as well as reminder how terrifying dark web could be.
this is awesome and nerve racking at the same time
do more
Bro its been like this since the 90’s
Anyone who works for a company nowadays should be concerned with the security of the information their employer retains on them.
Great Learning John Sir.
I like your pentesting skill
more complicated one. your lody needs to soft nice. 808(app) should also fit with the lody and the rythm. snare and percussion
9:41 - John, you can see its FGMArhitects...

Did they reply to the ticket?

How to find their location and website certificates?

I don't understand why John backs out at a point. Could anyone please explain me why, i didn't get it, he was blurring it anyway.
Just fyi, for the first company which u blurred... the name is briefly available in one frame around 9.41. U might want to blur it there as well.
You need to blur better! I found the company because of your video. The Tooltip in the File-Browser shows an abbr. of the companies name...
Are you using tail os with tor to explore the websites on iron or virtualization?
Nevermind I found my answer on your other video: Setting Up Whonix for ANONYMOUS Tor Browsing (Dark Web Documentary #06)
Please make vd for more malware and advanced techniques tools for red team and how to make payload baypass av go go go ...

Love this!
The site is down🤷♂️
yep went down 15h ago
The romance scammers and other BEC scammers out there going to use this free info, absolutely, I assume some already are and more are learning.
Take no part in the unfruitful works of darkness, but instead expose them.
How come such a long break in this series John?
Lol at how awkward things are by the end. I can understand, you run into these cyber/security "situations" where your

I didn't know FAQ meant frequently asked questions.
Is there a service that monitors these and alerts businesses?
