I agree about centralizing through the ETF isn't great but it's ironic considering your biggest ALT (SOL) is objectively one of the most centralized major alts. I hold ETH and SOL but if we're being intellectually honest it's light years more centralized, it gives up decentralization for scalability, which is ok with me. Pomp is biased (he's admitted it). He got into crypto mining eth and sold for a few bucks and has been salty with it ever since.

IA, James , et al...I am green when it comes to understanding ETH and SOL in terms of their value to the world. Question: in terms of those that stake their ETH for a yield, will the yield wither as SOL becomes more and more dominant?
Bought my ETH in 2017 & 2018 @ an average price of $1,100. While I've made solid gains, I continue to feel, and see, that ETH has a ball and chain wrapped around it that it won't be free of any time soon. I have DCA'd into SOL over the last year and wondering if I should shift my ETH into SOL to get on the faster horse for the next 12-ish months. Would love some insight on this which I understand is not financial advice.
That's what I did today. Changed my position from ETH to SOL. However, I still believe in Eth and still holding some ETH for long term. Let's see how it goes.
These companies like Apple , Nvidia etc. have really a handful of viable and palatable choices with free cash. Buy melting treasuries, do cash buy backs or buy Bitcoin. Apple's cash treasury went down because they've been opting to do stock repurchase buybacks, which is seen as bullish for the stock. As we see more corporate treasuries copying the Bitcoin standard or MSTR for treasuries. I think we'll get to a point where buying Bitcoin will be seen as more bullish than stock buybacks. Wouldn't surprise me if someday that's the case.
Theres a bit of a memory black hole on todays show. Btc dropped 21% after the Btc ETF launch. Not sure I'd paint Eth dropping 5% a catastrophic failure at this point. Especially when whole crypto market is down. Lol

I think in the case of Warren Buffet he just doesn't know where to invest anymore. He has been open about the fact he doesn't understand technology, and the markets and the world are now technology driven... So in all likelihood he won't be able to navigate it the best any longer.
