Yeah, but how does it feels when we use the gun ? Numbers and good only to a certain point, but in my case for exemple, i use mods that lower the recoil of guns. It feels better that way, even if the DPS is lower. High DPS is useless if you're not able to hit your target.
With action and reaction, i slot blue recoil and purple concentration stabilizer (12 so halved to 6, instead of full 13). Eternal willpower recoil is so bad. When i level up MagnusAA for mastery without recoil mod is so smooth, while eternal willpower need 2 recoil mod. And my aim is horrible so i can't do weak point mod (real life fighter) or it will be wasted.
@@bcarp3 If the only way to beat the game is to have stupidly high DPS, then the game design fail. But that's not the case here, because there's plenty of video showing bosses getting deleted by descendant abilities (Ulti Lepic recently). This game is not only about guns...

I dont get what you mean by flat elemental attack reroll. You mean any of the elemental types. So a gold roll in chill electric fire or poison right? Any of those rolls would work ?
With the 10 mods you are showing off that you would use on your Eternal WIllpower and if you went for no crit chance substats, how much crit chance would the weapon have @drybeargamers ?
The dps number isnt realiable....your best way to make use of a weapon is utilising its main stats...example if the weapon has high crit chance then you put more crit chance
Its not a misconception....its general knowledge....basic gaming stats...and sometimes those stats can be unreliable because when you test them in the lab , you can see some discrepency ...hence...when your focusing on any weapon, know which is the main stats and try to fully utilise its main stats ( thunder cage chc cds , phyton weak point fire rate)

get the enduring if you're not using Gley. EW has small mag, but better accuracy than LMG, it's so good on Gley inf ammo. Otherwise, just farm EL, it has nearly same stats as EW but lower accuracy but its mag is big.
Situational. It gives you 3s of free firing every 15s which results in a small increase in your Time To Empty (TTE) overall. It works well on fast-firing weapons like SMGs.
All firearm Ultimate Modules are Special Mods, and you can only have one mod of each type equipped. If you somehow got 2 or more on a gun it was a bug. One that a lot of people would like to replicate.
Still don’t understand why people recommend to roll elemental dmg on guns all it does is benefit you slightly on some bosses and lower your dmg to others seems like a terrible option to me I don’t know why you’d want to run something that lowers your dmg when you could have another stat like crit rate or msg size that actually benefits you 100% of the time
The elemental Enhancement mods add damage scaled off of your Firearm Attack, which in no situation would ever lower your DPS output when equipped. In the example case, you'd swap elements based on your target regardless.
You might be talking the “ X Element +X%, -X% fire rate” mods which will show a dps reduction BECAUSE the game doesn’t factor in the elemental damage added to your firearm attack so it gives false numbers and tells you its lowering your dps but it’s not. Another thing to note is in hard mode there are elemental modifiers both in dungeons as well as just running around the map different regions will have different modifiers some having less elemental defense while having higher HP or vice versa.
@@DrybearGamers from what I tested elemental module gives ~39% dmg increase only if you attacking a elemental weakness target + not attacking the weakpoint. The flat elemental damage on gun reroll gives a lot less than what you stated. Any clue?

This was a waste of time crit damage is extremely good my tamer with 200% crit damage 94% firearm atk with a base 475k dps number will out dps this all day
Try out DPS’ing a PIERCE or BURST you gonna lack in dmg so bad it’s not gonna be funny. Tamer ONLY good against CRUSH boss types it’s literally ONLY good for that any other weapon type and you got carried my guy
No it won't clown tamer has horrible crit chance lmao. At most u can get 20% chance at 200% damage is just a 10% damage increase. Learn math And the math has already been done, eternal willpower can out dps tamer easily, so can edmnduring legacy, assassination edge and perforator. Cry more. Tamer is mid.

Too much recoil control and not enough dps is why most people can’t beat any bosses

You can check this yourself hover over the weapon and press the info button on PS5 it's the middle touchpad button

Eternal it's going to be better overall because it has longer range and better ammo economy

The percentage is their value contribution, so your best 4 rolls is the first 4 in the list. Bonus Vs Atk is typically best rolled as Bonus vs Colossi

Elemental damages does not benefit from weak point. Did you consider that as well?
