    So,
After testing the Halot mage 8K,
I can say that its claims of having such high details are true.
After testing many different models, shapes, and busts
The 8K resin printer has surprised me over and over.
The biggest features that make this printer special are:
    8K resolution.
    Under $260
    The Auto Vat clean system
    Extra fep film
And the rotating enclosure box (my favourite)
It's hard to find an 8k printer at a cheaper price range than this one.
And it provides 29 Microns resolution. which is fantastic.
The machine is not very heavy making it easy to move around and it still feels sturdy and strong.
I feel like the printer will have a very long lifespan as long as it is taken care of.
The only downsides that I saw on the printer were,
    No Wifi
    No Handles on the VAT
and non adjustable legs (most printer are like this)
It's compatible with all major slicers which is perfect.
So, are you also excited to print miniatures with infinite precision?
If you give the printer a try. I would love to hear your feedback in the comments below.
I hope you enjoyed the video.
Good luck with your life and have a nice day!

I bought a Halot Mage 8k this past weekend, no experience with 3d printing, after I saw all the negative reviews about it. Can confirm - if you can't make this 3d printer work, you're not as good at 3d printing as you say you are.

Appreciate this video! I was worried about this machine because of the negative reviews out there, but I currently use an old Creality H--002, and the mage is on sale for $220. Also, the vent output is important to me. Haven't seen very many with this kind of ventilation, and I engineered something similar for my current printer.

Great review. I just picked up a Halot and the reviews I've been seeing are conflicting. It looks like the problems reside with the Pro model more than the standard Mage. I'm mainly an Elegoo user,so i'm trying to find out the differences. I'm also a Sunlu user, so I was very glad to you're having success with that in the Mage. One feature that's getting overlooked is the main reason I picked this up: the Halot sacrifices print height in favor of more length and width. That's what I needed as it lets me lower the vertical raise to a much more horizontal fit which drastically cuts my print time. I'm subscribing now

Very nice review of a very good printer. I make custom chess sets and various 3D figures and this machine does a fantastic job. The figures I print are mainly 1/16 scale and 1/12 scale so details are important to me. I started with a Elegoo Mars 4K and in the first 4 months I had 2 machines fail before I got the 3rd one and not holding my breath how long that will last. I have had the Creality Mage 8K for over 2 months now and print at least 2 figures a day. This machine has been perfect and the only print fail I had was because of my error, not the machine.

Ive watched a couple of your videos now and noticed that you scrape your FEP sheet with that cheep plastic scraper - Dont use that! It will damage/scratch your FEP sheet up very easily. I use silicone scrapers and tools to avoid scratching and it cleans easily.
You can also use some old support pieces by putting some in the corner of the Vat (pressing gently down) and running a 30 sec tank clean cycle, just pull up gently and bring the entire cured sheet up with it. Be careful not to drop any small pieces of supports into the Vat afterwards -this happened to me recently without me noticing and it cost me a FEP sheet.
Enjoying the content, keep it coming.

I bought this printer recently, it hasn't arrived yet, and it is the first one I will have made of resin. What would be the precautions to take into account? How often do you have to change the FEP? Does there really come a time when the LCD has to be changed after use?

3-in-1 PTFE drops on a microfiber towel, wipe on the FEP vat. Clean the build platform with 90% Isopropyl alcohol and clean paper towel, 5 build exposure layers at 50s.
You should be good to go.

the price is ok for me but I'm undecided between the two about buying a (FDM) creality K1C or buying (SLA) Creality Halot-mage 8K . SLA is more cheaper than the FDM one for me and print quality is nicer but if the 8K screan after a while got dead pixel i think its gona be more expensive than i think . what do you think about that. which one do you think I should buy? i am living in turkey and K1C is about like 27.000 turkish liras and the HALOT-MAGE 8K about like 15.300 turkish liras please let me know your honest opinion

I see its quite a problem with reviewers. they basically get a test unit from manufacturer even b4 manufacturer has ben able to sort out all the bugs then it gets a bad review because of that. al the other videos ive seen the build plate seems like a rocket ship but on yours its slow and smooth. all the other videos it does not have a fep film but some other murky type film. the model print procedure seems to take 5 steps but on your its is a 2 click procedure and you get a preview. one guy, vogman even went as far as not extending the fan extension vent tube and saying its only 30cm long. what a knob! I have a phrozen mighty 8k but recently ran into a major design flaw with the printer which has caused it to seize up and sadly its not covered by the warranty. so there goes my $1000 printer ive only had for 2months and im eyeing this one as its currently less than $400 in my country. yes I know we are completely buttrhaped on the pricing in my cuntry. while cleaing the vat i spilled some resin out of the vat and it fell onto the drive gear which is completely exposed and it made its way into the housing and into the motor unit of the printer. its the equivalent of putting the petrol tank filler in the the engine compartment right next to the hot engine and hoping no one will spill a drop of petrol and blow up their car. its an incredibly stupid design

I really dont understand why your touting the amazing detail, your not using very detailed models... and I just got to the point where your "showing off the detail" on the calibration artifacts, I really dont understand if your just new to resin printing, or if you were paid by creality.

Its problem is that it is super slow! Why do you repeat 1 to 5 seconds per layer like the brand says, that's a lie! It's 60 seconds per layer at least, stop telling lies, its speed doesn't reach 20 mm/h, it's 16 mm/h, nobody wants something that slow!

    • @gwynik6969
      @gwynik6969 Месяц назад

Have you even tried dynax mode at all. have you played with settings when you go to print from creality cloud. Doesn't sound like you actually know what your talking about. 60 sec a layer lmao. 40 sec max for the first layers then it jumps to a 1.2 sec exposure time if you have your settings right. (Depending on resin) for this fast resin is the way to go. Then dynax mode makes the motor travel faster in between lifting layers.
