Its nice when you’re able to watch and listen to someone just express their individuality and appreciate it. I could relate with a lot of the things Asmi was talking about. A really refreshing episode. And Hi Neha, really missing TBG ko thakali set👋🏻

Ok I have a few problems with this interview whether you want to know it or not. I'll go ahead and lay them out anyway.
To begin with, things like spirituality, suffering, consciousness, stillness, compassion are huge words and I'm appalled by how loosely they have been thrown around throughout the whole interview. If you don't have the experience or knowledge to back up the conversation then it would be wiser to just leave them out.
What is with the interviewer though? It seems like she's trying so hard to sound smart or intellectual by making all these hollow statements like 'underlying objectives of healing or practising consciousness, stillness, calmness etc' are somehow revolutionary to her. Seriously? what's that even supposed to mean? She also goes on saying 'you can't be sensitive to pain without being sensitive to pleasure' which is totally dropped in out of nowhere. I was actually glad that Asmi asked why did she say that. My reaction was all the same. Clearly it was totally out of the context. I'm pleasantly surprised that Asmi kept the interview real and gave honest opinions on so many occasions.
However the interviewer is like going off track many a times. Also please stay away from using words like decipher(unless you're decoding a cuneiform script or hieroglyphs) or the Odyssey by Homer. I'm still wondering is it really 'the good, the bad and the (WORST?). 🤔
She didn't really "quote" Osho but she got his insight on love totally messed up. Also one who meditates should know that you don't meditate by being all alone with your legs crossed. Breathing is the focal point of any meditation. Pity she had no clue about it.
Like how could you put yourself out on a platform like this to talk about things which is out of your understanding and blatantly making random statements. She has the potential to carry out a good interview if she just talks normally without sounding too academic or rehearsed. She needs to learn how to choose right words for the right context. 👍 I'm impressed by Asmi though. She knew what she was talking about. Seems like Sanam has been a great company for her. Good to know that they feed off on each other emotionally and intellectually. 👍

Hi. The only thing I was trying to do with this episode was to put across whatever lil' or more I know/have known from my personal experiences. My opinions and what I've mostly layed out could be biased, and can somehow lack absolute understanding of the used jargons. I'm more than open to sit down to learn and listen more about the subject if you're willing to educate and exchange.

    • @roba7939

@@mxnehahirachan5423 Im just a viewer. I can only give my opinions based on what I see and hear. It's then upto you as a host of the show whether to take it constructively or disparagingly.
Although I may have sounded a bit harsh in my comment above but that's only for your own good. I'm glad to know that you're open to be educated by myself but you can learn it yourself a lot from watching your own interviews unless you're deluded or misguided.
I find the title itself is misleading. Asmi was trying to speak in a simple language and only said things she experienced. She didn't pretend that she knows what power or stillness/ calmness is. That makes her so relatable that one does not need to understand these spiritual lexicons and have to have profound answers to them but can still find peace within what her brain can comprehend to stay sane and sorted.
You, on the other hand, sounded like you have to use those big vocabularies in order to make the conversation intellectual or meaningful which I felt was unnecessary. Conducting an interview is different to writing an English essay. I understand English is not your first language. However, you can take a notch down or two of your ostentatious usage of irrelevant wordings to keep the convo real and genuine the least. 👍
