Garry: I love this piece. Corelli truly had a great mind. Ib: Didn't I hear this when I was in the art gallery? Mary: ...I've never heard this before...
If you get the impression that the Victorian Era seemed serious because of the photos from that era, then I'd like to point out that cameras of that time took a long time to take a photo so ppl couldn't smile (Imagine smiling in front of cameras that took 5 minutes to take a photo) Just saying this only in case you got that impression from the photos, because idk fully what the culture from the Victorian era was like, but I've noticed a popular perception with ppl thinking that cause of the photos from that era.
Favorite soundtrack, I prefer this arrangement of La Folia more than any other Also probably my favorite classical song, well, I really like Sarabande too
So this theme IS Corelli's La Folia! I just finally went out to buy the music sheet, looked at the first few notes and was like dude, that's from Ib! That's why I always thought I knew this piece in Ib. This game is just amazing, everytime I come back to it I find something new I love.
I can relate! One day I went to visit a family member, they had a music bow that played a bit of what seemed to be Little Doll's Dream, the Game Over theme, and I was like, wait a minute, I recognize this! Upon closer inspection, though, it wasn't Little Doll's Dream, but another song that sounded similar.
Bowser King Koopa I'm still kinda hoping for a followup on the best ending - *SPOILER ALERT* The one where both Ib and Garry are implied to have remembered everything. I mean, they've pretty much become bro and sis in that period ( or....something else, depends on which part of the fandom you want to believe xD ), it'd be a shame to let that character development go. It'd be interesting to learn more about Mary as well. *END OF SPOILERS* There's still a couple of unknowns about Guertena himself as well.....
always preferred Corelli over Vivaldi: two great baroque masters of Italy, yet Corelli has a more eclectic and dream-like style. Vivaldi is often epic and powerful, yet a bit more "obvious" in a way.

CeruleanWriter I remember
I played this game like once like 6 years ago and this was in my head a few minutes ago randomly
I just hit the "loop" button for this song on your brain
No need to thank me ;)
This makes me think Ib took place in a Victorian era where everything was fancy and serious. Her clothing style isn't a big surprise.
+MOTHREFUKCING WEISS GUERTENA BITCHES WHAT UP Gary's is tho xD
MasterKrain YAS
Kedamono it didn’t

came here from comments about ib on la folia videos
It's really beautiful
i love this music, how the tempo changes, and how the song "blossoms" in its own respect
Amo todas las canciones de este juego

The beauty

Ahh the Sarabande reference! 💕💕
Quickly looking at the thumbnail i thought
Who the hell is Ibost?
Comments on corelli's follia brought me here
Jean-Baptiste Lully
is there a similar one in spotify?
Viva vivaldi
This ost is inspired by 4 season
It had to be Suzuki's. God Suzuki's version of Corelli's sounds ugly. Corelli's original sounds better.
While I love Corelli's, I actually think Suzuki version has a more somber-toned tone, which is more fitting for the game, really.
Makes me wish Ib was on the ipod touch.

I came back from TwoSet and I wasn't expecting to see this here. Old account, and 55, now 56 likes.
