Here is the wildest bit... They do 0-60 in 1.8s with a 259mph top speed off the factory floor. I had my buddy who is an EV wizard tune mine. Took him all of 15 minutes and now it does 0-60 in 1.3s, 0-100 in 2.2 seconds, and has a top speed of 283mph.

The extra power was found through eliminating inefficiencies in the systems communications. Additionally, we set a limiter on the battery so that it only ever charges to 80% which will increase the longevity of the battery array. Honestly, most EV owners manuals even say to limit charging to less than 90% but people never read that shit. The main factor in upping the power was literally just removing some system redundancy that while great for a daily driver, are not needed on a machine meant to go zoom.
I miss when hyper cars were a challenge to drive, if you saw a Carrera GT or McLaren F1 in public there was an air of mystique and respect for not only the car, but the driver. These days everything is easy and automatic, everything is just a fast taxi.

You do know the Nevera is the fastest street legal production car up the Goodwood FOS hill climb, with lots of corners - it's not just a one trick acceleration pony
